  5. Alty trying to lock up at low rpm? pop the belt off and spin it by hand listening and feeling for grinding in the bearings
  6. Snake oil, might as well buy that thin that plugs into the lighter too
  7. Congratulations on your purchase, late for the party but that sounds like you got a nice deal even if at full price
  8. Agree, the screwiness is probaly just the pic. I like my superlifts, but I just like having more things with zerks fittings
  9. I may not have coin involved in this project but would think (well at least hope) I can speak for all when I say take care of the little one first bud. I'd much rather see your family healthy than a pic of somebody windshield pillar with a vacuum gauge in it. Best wished from this end, get her healed up and be strong for her!
  10. technically yesterday but started the Quest/Villager alty swap (typical me, only start a project) by swapping on the pulley from an old stock alty I didn't throw away for some reason and replaced my rear wiper with a fancy floppy one I cut down to the correct size
  11. That's a general rule of thumb but what I unknown to many is that a LOT more cars than you think have specific brake bleed sequences your supposed to follow. The backwards sounding Pathfinder sequence is actually written as LR/RR/RF/LF in publications by brake companies and such (my OnDemand program on my shop computer sais it and a bleed sequence book Published through Wagner we have here at work too).
  12. Ahh yes, the fresh air setting. I knew there was something I was overlooking. I like that setting so fully smooth is out if the question now and the drawling board and pile of random pieces comes out... This is why I asked and not jus did, thanks
  13. First off, I'm not looking for opinions on if anyone likes the idea or not as I don't care on that front. My thoughts are though that I have a few extra wiper cowl panels so maby screwing off with one and making a smooth one without the plastic vent covers. How much affect you think there would be on having basically no cowl? Again, I don't care about image opinions nor do I want to see them, just thought's on ACTUAL affects to the truck itself.
  14. plasma cutter, torch, sawzall, cut off wheel... the tools are there for this
  15. leave it in its current location and fill the gap with thin fog lights
  16. Raining=I ain't laying under my truck right now
  17. Digging the danger orange lock rings (I probably would have personally went a little more feminine ) like the clean ruggedrocks.com decal job down the bottom of the truck too, though I always dug the old doitontherocks.com one
  18. might I also suggest, checking part out threads around here too? Might be able to get a discounted pre-owned and throw a couple bucks at a member that way too!
  19. Alkorahil and his genuine Nissan parts thread.
  20. On one of my HBs (red 91 4x4 I've posted before) when I repainted it, I used aftermarket fenders and hood (didn't have any spare 4x fenders at the time). Stuff lined up pretty nice with no effort (and the hood is actually currently on WhiteOwl right now) otherwise any body panels I've used for replacements were high quality, economically challanged pre-owned pieces other than some lenses (hit or miss luck there). Now on different make vechiles I've had many mixed experiences...
  21. you shoulda put a banana next to the first one! Found 25 bucks in the visor this morning, looks like someone will get some fuel today...
  22. Donate it to TheNunyaHouse, a non-profit organization with a common goal to make nunya happy A few people have made their non-BL aftermarket bumpers fit after a bodylift I done. I think there's even pics somewhere of the modifications needed
  23. Played redlight fright to this song while driving
  24. beautiful lookign product though man, let us know how it holds together under your abuse!
