  1. I watch for roadside/junk yard treasures regularry. You can't imagine the tools I find on the side of the highway when hooking up a car (actually recently found a sweet snap on screwdriver with a broken tip, lifetime guarantee wins again!) If I SEE the loss of said treasure though I will try to alert the 'victim'. Had some cool BS sessions at the pick a part with people over a "hey buddy, you might need that ratchet"
  2. Quest alty is a little more labor intensive (there's a How-To write up on it if you plan to take te Nestea Plunge into it) where the Maxima alty is basicly bolt on was worth it in my books when I had an alty die on me, was cheaper to get the Maxima one than the correct one anyway
  3. yea... getting around to cleaning them up and putting some actual strength into them. Not in a rush though
  4. sell it seriously I think ahardb0dy said something before about using one on his old HB he used to have, otherwise all i can think of off hand is people buying them and not using them
  5. My factory bars are from a king cab HB so I had to make my own rear mount (it bolted through a brace for a body mount on the HB) and the front actually had a bracket that 'clamps around' the frame. Might be a HB thing though their currently in some weeds though in a pile with a bunch of other sets of factory steps of different forms, I'm not getting stung yet so you ain't getting any current pics from me at the moment
  6. who ate all the lucky charms?

Silly Wabbit Trix are for kids?

I blame that chubby canook or kyle.

  7. Ran him for a couple minutes while he's buried in the yard at work... poor little guy. (need to get him checked over for safty insp so I can get a stamp)
  8. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/pathfinder/1994_Pathfinder/ its for a 94 but should be at least somewhat helpful depending on the system your planning on messing with as a little help (the "el.pdf" selection is the electrical section). Otherwise my 88 FSM is proably about useless to you for me to look anything up
  9. Would i personally do it? Probaly not as I'm lazy and have a spare motor. Would I chear someone on doing it? As long as they take pictures engine swapping is gonna be a "do YOU want to" kinda thing.
  10. A classic... any song about a deuce and a quarter gotta be a good one though... I mean who wouldn't praise even a clap trap one if it were in their driveway!
  11. I'm more concerned if I DON'T hear mine at initial key on-engine off
  12. I run strait PS fluid in my stuff, but I just like using fluids labeled for their actual use in things. As stated ATF is perfectly fine and a lot of times (also as stated) recommended in stuff as a PS lubricant fluid and it's only a stupid question if from a stupid person asking is sometimes the only way your gonna figure something out besides the 'hard' way!
  13. I have my fingers crossed for ya he got a wHierd set since I know they did ride nice and didn't have any hiway whine in them when I would drive the thing (when they had tread)
  14. Good luck with those Falkens, put a set of those on a Sierra not long ago. They don't have 20k on them (truck was aligned when tires were mounted and rotated) and they are about to the point you can see the air through them. Hope you get better luck with them...
  15. I gotta agree here, plus I must add he didn't say whether it was an inner or outer TRE to start with so your fix-all setup could still have the exact same weak link the OP just had. For all we know it could have been a bit to hard of a comedown on the RF after this pic OP, good times are good times no matter how long they are glad you got to play with it if even not as long as you were hoping before ending more wrench time
  16. Some say great minds think alike but if I'm involved "fools seldom differ" seems to make more sence
  17. Registration came today, plates are legal again (well still were until Thursday... last minute renewal... as usual)
  18. Thats the purpose of fuses, to protect the vitals when something that shouldn't flows trough the wires. As stated by Mr.510, replace what you smoked, check your fuse block as well incase any of them got jolted, fresh battery (you were jump starting for a reason to begin with ) cross your fingers and toes and give it a whirl.
  19. This (his whole post actually, just having some boredom fun picking parts if his post). You already know you have a loose connection so fixing the known problem should be priority 1. Grab a pair of new terminals, at least clean up all connection points. Stuff ain't gonna work right with lack of power
  20. Now face north!

  21. this! There's still cut off-un capped lines hanging off mine from the automatic truck it's originally out of never concerned me and don't have the worry/care to take the 5 seconds to take them off/plug them. (along with wing cheap, i have been known to have a spot of laziness too )
  22. And what's wrong with a hood scoop? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, check the members rides section and look for things that catch YOUR eye
