with only a two inch lift this shouldnt be an issue. if he wanted the longer shocks though you could go with bilstein or procomp. could always run some f250 shocks also...just have to swap the bushings
-
I don’t like the colors ones....but could something like these gray ones work to secure it and still allow you to remove it if necessary? https://www.ebay.com/p/1set-JDM-Quick-Release-Fasteners-for-Car-Bumpers-Trunk-Fender-Hatch-Lids-Kit/11014162767?iid=172812098871&chn=ps&ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F711-117182-37290-0%2F2%3Fmpre%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fwww.ebay.com%252Fp%252F1set-JDM-Quick-Release-Fasteners-for-Car-Bumpers-Trunk-Fender-Hatch-Lids-Kit%252F11014162767%253Fiid%253D172812098871%2526chn%253Dps%26itemid%3D172812098871%26targetid%3D486089570298%26device%3Dm%26adtype%3Dpla%26googleloc%3D9030156%26poi%3D%26campaignid%3D1698888449%26adgroupid%3D65736218349%26rlsatarget%3Daud-412677883135%3Apla-486089570298%26abcId%3D1139396%26merchantid%3D113366608%26gclid%3DEAIaIQobChMI17zrouv84AIVNh6tBh17EgIOEAQYASABEgLbQfD_BwE%26srcrot%3D711-117182-37290-0%26rvr_id%3D1892290684456%26rvr_ts%3D725b5b411690add88b1548ccffd27f99

I’m interested to see how this comes out
-
i would man. its a solid product
-
go with kyb excel shocks and struts. great all around parts. use the spacers if your wanting economical and dont do a ton of extreme offroading. if you need something beefier...theres a couple different spring options available
-
no such thing. only way to lift an r50 is springs or spacers. sfcreation.com sells a great set of hdpe spacers for like 100 bucks that a lot of guys on here use. theyre made by forum member steve fluerys
-
I did the same
-
Man I really dig that tube bumper
-
Just get a new one from a JY. Won’t cost you much. I think I might have seen a guy on one of the Facebook groups with two of these for sale? I’ll see if I can find it
-
Ya I wasn’t about to spend that kind of money for a hose either. That’s why I just made my own with some parts store hose. It’s working out fine. You could just wait and see if your hoses are reusable....and then if they break just make a run to the parts store for some hose. You will need to replace this insulator though. https://www.amazon.com/Nippon-Reinz-Positive-Crankcase-Ventilation/dp/B001G73FT4/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmrnull_2?keywords=2001+pathfinder+pcv+valve+grommet&qid=1552243451&replacementKeywords=pcv+valve+grommet&s=gateway&sr=8-2-fkmrnull&vehicle=2001-67-893------------&vehicleName=2001+Nissan+Pathfinder you can find them cheaper from the dealer though

They are molded ones. I however used hose rated for fuel and oil from auto zone and secured it with hose clamps. This is the breather hose https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/WC/6755-01158252.html?utm_content=YN&utm_term=2001-2004+Nissan+Pathfinder+Breather+Hose+Genuine+W0133-1908565+Center+01-04+Nissan+Breather+Hose+2002+2003&fp=pp&gbm=a&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ff&utm_campaign=PartsGeek+Google+Base&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1-W6w5H44AIVxBx9Ch0LHwXWEAQYASABEgIaqPD_BwE&ad=47584901292 And this is the pcv hose if you’re wantin oem https://www.ebay.com/itm/Engine-Crankcase-Breather-Hose-GENUINE-W0133-1907618-OES/162768503503?fits=Year%3A2001|Model%3APathfinder&epid=843435390&hash=item25e5c242cf:g:HIkAAOSw64tbl6GU

Man I’d love me a good front skid. This bumper looks super cool too -
Do you have any other pictures of how you did the panhard drop?
-
Man that’s looking awesome bud!!
-
A guy on one of the Facebook groups wanted to buy them....but I haven’t heard from him in over a week. So if josh wants to message me it looks like they’re up for grabs
-
I know this is super old....but could you just mount them inverted and drill some holes in the bottom boot to allow the water to drain?
-
buy a new pcv valve hose, pcv valve insulatro, and pcv breather hose. theyll all shatter when you remove them. might wanna do the upper water control valve while the manifold is off too. you can service the spark plug tube seals only if your manifolds are aluminum, if theyre plastic...you have to replace the whole manifold. do the powervalves while youre in there also. i wouldnt order new coils if you dont need them...but id probably replace the boots. severeal of mine were cracked and brittle. theyre like 2 dollars from rock auto. cylinder 1 is longer on the 01 so make sure you get the right ones

-
Ya definitely hit some junkyards
-
Hell I might just pick those up too if no one else wants em! Lol. I see a bajillion posts a day asking about how to lift pathys. Can’t believe no ones interested in free springs
-
Well I went ahead and removed the crank sensor and cleaned it off. Quite a bit of small metal shavings magnetized to it. Got it all wiped down and reinserted. I’m sure all that crud had to be doing something
