  1. Thanks! I’m quite happy with how the black trim additions worked out!
  2. Part of the coil was hanging off the edge with nothing under the coil.
  3. I don’t know if anyone’s tried it before, im just gonna see if I can rig something up on my own as a bumpstock extension
  4. Picked up two F250 bump stops for $3, but couldn’t pull the brake line off of a frontier. That upper fitting is ridiculous. I’ll order a new one from Advance auto parts I guess. I’ll toss it out there that if anyone doesn’t have good access to JY’s, I have a lot of JY’s local to me with probably 10 total pathfinders, and I’m getting pretty good at pulling stuff and shipping it out. They sell stuff for really cheap too
  5. Thanks. Hopefully it’s good for carrying firewood and other gear. Sure for $300 bucks I will haha.
  6. Roof rack done! It’s fairly strong and fits the look I needed. You can barely see the u-bolts sticking up, but sawing off some of the extra threads fixes that. Probably about $70 to make, but it beats the $200 it would’ve taken for a flat rhino rack. Also painted my tow hooks while I was at it.
  7. If the spring looks like it’s unseated, I’ve had that happen before. The coils had slipped over the edge of the lower strut seat, and was partially hanging off. I dropped it off at the shop that did my alignment and they said they just hammered it back into place, probably with the suspension at full droop.
  8. Not to be a pain, but doesn’t it take a lot more than just a snorkel to be able to safely get up to the hood in water? I’ve heard it’s necessary to waterproof alot of the electrical components and whatnot before you can even take advantage of what a snorkel offers.
  9. If you do a hat, (which may or may not be popular? I’m definitely a hat guy), some side profiles of pathfinders with mountains or trees would probably look good. Not sure how much interest you’ll get, but I’d consider it
  10. I must be colorblind cause what I thought was red spray paint turned out to be burnt orange, but that’s not anything $6 can’t fix.
  11. Same as @02_Pathy as soon as the next paycheck comes lol. Might be a few weeks
  12. That was fast. Not sure when I can get these on, but at least I have em
  13. We’ve been going over this a lot now haven’t we? Haha. I’m worried about some of the problems people had with the AC+1 combination. Maybe I order a second pair of camber bolts and see if it’s possible. I know the .5” won’t be a problem, especially once the springs settle
  14. Alright, from what I think I know, a .5" spacer on top of my AC coils is NOT a bad idea, but I could be wrong. I'm under the impression that a .5" spacer cannot under any circumstance cause binding. Is it a bad idea to try to cut my existing 1" spacers (I have 4 total) with a saw? I'm not sure what it takes to cleanly and effectively cut through HDPE
  15. It’s not clean, trust me. Also, LR springs have now been ordered. NRC 9449's for me!
  16. I put more work into the roof rack the last two nights. The pairs of crossbars are where the reack will attach to the load bars, I found some u bolts that fit just about perfectly, and I made cutouts so that the hardware is easier to access. Unfortunately I screwed up a cut (left side of the nearest crossbar), and will have to buy one last 5’ section of EMT. The rest of the crossbars will go on at 7.5” intervals. I’ll also be using some scrap to add more vertical bars, and probably fill in/strengthen around those cuts outs.
  17. It’s been said before, and ya, the results vary, most people either get a placebo effect or notice a small difference. Though it’s worth noting that @Jax99 wheeled an SFD equipped rig that had no missing link, and his subframe actually cracked and tore. Pictures and explanation of it in his build thread.
  18. it seriously does nothing for your CV’s. The control arms have the same amount of travel, but they can’t pull away from each other in the lateral direction. So your CV’s still have the same travel unless somehow your controls arms could move far enough laterally that your CV’s are overextending, which would mean catastrophic failure for your front suspension. And that’s what a missing link helps with anyway, though no control arm should move that far anyway. Trust me, I had mine up on jack stands, the droop was the same before and after.
  19. Ya I needed quick shipping so ended up buying a pair for $14. I think I’m going to order LR’s today so I can sell my old spacers sooner
  20. AC springs ordered! Thanks AC for the ridiculous shipping rates. I’ll be sure to never use you guys again. Also ordered generic camber bolts
  21. And beyond personal testimonies, if you start reading through this forum a lot, you’ll have a tough time finding people complaining about their lifts. And besides, if your like most people who want a lifted 4x4, the small nuances won’t matter in conparison to how much you enjoy being lifted.
