  1. Ya, i forget how shallow they make those boxes, but if you don't mind doing your own fabrication, that may be a really effective way to go
  2. is there enough room in the cubby under the carpet of the trunk to put a shallow mount subwoofer? This cubby (ignore the wiring, part of a rock light project). You could probably fit something pretty big out of sight and with no storage loss
  3. I kinda agree with @onespiritbrain. Go as big as you can. This is the box I carried over from my old 4runner and I don’t really run into storage isssues. Plus, the jaw dropping base is worth it (to me). Too bad the rear window doesn’t roll down like it did on the 4runnner
  4. I suppose I should mention that, for anyone else who can’t find a carrier, when I was across town a few weeks ago I saw 2-3 old style carriers.
  5. She’ll be getting shipped out soon. I’m excited to see this on another truck. Thanks to @Astrorami for making this happen.
  6. Mine (2003) are metal, maybe you could get a facelift headlight assembly?
  7. It’s in great shape, approximately 40lbs. This is the only one we’ve gotten our hands on right, and only the second sighting of one? I don’t think anyone else on the forum has that
  8. https://forums.nicoclub.com/suspension-lifts-101-t491011.html Spring Options
  9. That’s too bad. I finally got mine to have a pretty clean and low cutoff line by turning the bulb sideways in the housing, but it took me a couple months to get it perfect. As for the screw, hit up a junkyard, take apart a headlight there and see what you can figure out
  10. Ya, those midsize trucks get pretty small. I’m taller than my brothers 98 ranger (which is immaculate btw-used to be jealous when I still had the 4runner). Sometimes I’ll be driving around town and feel about as tall as some of the unleveled or 2WD full size trucks running around. It’s a good feeling
  11. It was fun getting to use her in the snow this morning
  12. Do you have to go the donor vehicle route? I'm not sure how much it would cost to rebuild your transmission.
  13. You're kinda in a tough spot. How many miles does your truck have
  14. Wonder why he's selling it? That things gotta be fun and capable. Would you consider buying it?
  15. It's in line with an alternate route home, so yeah not a problem. I've wondered before if they'd be willing to sell me the bumper, but decided against it.
  16. No, and I don't think the lot has a website. I can stop by and get a picture later this week if you want. Its a black facelift, looks stock other than the bumper
  17. the manual tranny at the junkyard or the prerunner?
  18. Ok. I have like 8 between my local junkyards. Definitely saw a manual last time I was at one. There's also one sitting on the side of the road near my house that says "runs and drives-2500" on the window. It has a prerunner tube bumper on it. Probably not worth the drive for you.
  19. Do you have any junkyards near you? Or is that not the route you want to go
  20. For future reference, at least on web browser, type the “@“ and then as you add letters, suggestions will show up @Mrelcocko
  21. https://forums.nicoclub.com/topic563777.html If I’m understanding this correctly, then yes I think you’re right
  22. Have yet to check the level of the coolant, I can do that when I get home next week, or do that test. Thanks for the help!
  23. I haven’t noticed anything leaking. Park in the garage every night, no mysterious puddles.
