  1. I bet with your VIN Alkorahil could tell you, give you a good deal on genuine Nissan parts too!
  2. So true.... I can tell there is a car/ truck/something back there by the blur......
  3. Very interesting and genuinely ingenious! Wonderful prototype, maybe some type of plastic or sheet metal housing to make it easily changeable... Kudos! Keep us posted on how well it works....
  4. Try needledoctor. com. They have the best selection of vintage quality turntable parts.
  5. I just wanna be Charleton Heston in Omega Man....
  6. Analog vinyl sounds so much richer and fuller than ANY digital media, audiophiles have always known this and the rest of the populous is catching on. Many of you did not grow up in the vinyl age so you have to experience the difference for yourself. Right on to those finding the worth of old vinyl. Keep it healthy with a good turntable and a high quality stylus that uses minimal needle pressure.
  7. You may be right but it might also be throw out bearing, pressure plate, friction plate issues. You have to pull the tranny either way but it might not be as bad as it seems. How does the pedal feel when you engage the clutch? You say it only engages in 4th now. Is that running or just sitting in the driveway? Does it move at all? If the pedal feels good, It engages fine in 4th while running but no other gear, yes, you probably have deeper issues.
  8. I hear ya buddy. When I bought my '91 the PO had no idea when and if the TB was done but all his maintenance was done at the local dealer. I just changed it anyway and when I got in there the belt looked brand new. But since I was there I wanted to start with a fresh slate so I changes it, WP, bypass hose, seals... Oh, your post count doesn't matter. I don't feel I am a post whore but if you want a bigger post # just play the forum game for a while and you can rack them up...
  9. Well guys, it wasn't from a lack of trying. Sometimes it is hard to admit operator error, the most common of all computer issues..... Damn machine!
  10. Still have to copy and paste from a web based photo sharing service
  11. I just rerouted the stock light (obviously AFTER this pic was taken) worked out well..
  12. Hides your license plate nicely, lol.... I had to move mine too just cuz the spare was so GD big it hid the stock location. I just happened to do it the same time I installed the tube bumper..
  13. 10K? Insanity. I would drive to Denver and do it for you for that. There are members in your area that would probably be willing to help you out, just like the forum members here. Nothing you mentioned takes an awesome shop, specialty tools, or more than basic knowledge of hand tools and some time. Search around the forums and you will find lots of information pertaining to the projects you want to accomplish, the more you read the more confident you will get on believing you can do it yourself and stick that left over 7K+ in your pocket. Have questions? Guys here are more than willing to help.
  14. Exterior mount speakers blaring The Carpenters..... EVERYONE will run for cover!
  15. Thank you to all the contestants and voters. I am proud my daily driver won, the other shots were great too! Can't wait to see the next nominees....
  16. Welcome Ryan, looking forward to following your project! Lotsa good info here and guys to help if you need it but sounds like you have a good rein on things...
  17. Never has to do it but you might find some info on it in the Body section of the FSM.... I wasn't bragging really, just anyone who has ridden a big cc thumper knows vibration and how useless rear mirrors can be. On them you use bar weights and rubber isolators to control mirror vibrations.
  18. Only on my 688 dual sport thumper....
  19. Very nice! I live in CA and emissions here are more strict than the rest of the US. I think under the hood is the emissions information and see if it is California legal. If not be prepared for a few mods to bring it up to Commiefornia standards. I personally have never had this issue but have met others that have....
  20. Welcome all! Good to see you here, keep those pics coming!
  21. Welcome! Glad to see you here and can attest by 17 years of trouble free service that Pathfinders are awesome!
  22. Welcome! Add another Californian to our list of owners restricted by "cutting edge" environmental laws..... Post pics!!
