  1. You basically change your gearing by running different size tires so different front to rear would only make a difference in 4WD except for the fact it will look kinda ridiculous..... What is wrong with those Yoko's? Looks like they got lots of wear left for an all season highway tire.
  2. Huh. Maybe admin can look at your account, something doesn't seem right.... Bummer, we like pictures!!
  3. Test, test, this is only a test.... Maybe it is in your internet settings? Seems to work fine for me even without modifying the address. I cant close PB though or I will lose it off the clipboard....
  4. While in Photobucket (with the photo open you want to post), hit the "tools" icon (the one that looks like a gear in the upper RH corner) then hit the "Share Links" option. This will open other options, the bottom one is the IMG file, click it and it will copy it to your clipboard. Without closing PB open your post and paste IMG file into your text. Its that easy!!
  5. Nice it only has 75K, too bad the frame is rusted. Welcome to the forums!
  6. Totally agree with Pav. You have some fairly extensive body damage too, it would make more sense to find another truck and make the best out of 2....
  7. Very ingenious..... I knew there was another use for 4" ABS than, well, you know what I mean.... I take it you fed that into your airbox/filter?
  8. Nice Nissan family! You will find all the information and help you need here. Welcome! I've been to the stampede a few times in my younger years...
  9. Ok, I know how much everyone loves dirty, flex, swamping pics but since Sept. is "anything goes" I am submitting a "glam" pic. Although it took 4WD to get where I am sitting, I took the pic before I got dirty... I nominate myself, SkiBumBrian
  10. I think you have basically answered your own question. It seems you do have an affinity for WD21's. I can't blame you. Yours could become a donor for parts (at least the ones that aren't rusted away) for another WD. As you well know, you will probably never find one in your area in much better condition than the one you have now. You could investigate WD's in drier climates, salt free that have held up well over the years (you would be surprised how many of them there are, there are at least a few a month here) and take a bus or plane ride and drive it home. As far as others that compare I cant tell you but your climate does not cater to long lasting vehicles of any vintage so anything you buy in decent shape you should spend some time or coin on undercoating, rust preventative, etc. IMHO
  11. Yep, If I would not have gotten some of their UCA's from another member for next to nothing I would have (and probably still will) go with the Rough Country UCA's. They address the UBJ angle much better...
  12. Anyone who thinks that big banks don't rule the world, that our presidents and government are not bought, and think the Rothchilds and the Illuminati are just good movie plots really needs to do some personal investigation. Depopulation is already underway.....
  13. Just do a lot of surfing around the forums. You will find a plethora of information and ideas......
  14. I live in the redneck part of California, lots of wheeling around here. The biggest obstacle is the gates that Sierra Pacific (big logging/lumber company) puts up on state or federal land to limit access. Its OUR land not theirs and it pisses me off. On my bike I can always find a way around them, on 4 wheels you have to be much more ingenious... Just remember to put masking tape over your license plate, they are now using game cameras to catch the violators like me.....
  15. Been looking for a tube bumper for the Pathy for a while. Found this one on CL for 80 bucks yesterday, just installed it this morning. Perfect opportunity to relocate the license plate too since with the bigger tire on the back and the fact I had to stand it out a bit to clear the rack you couldn't see the plate anyway..... I will head to the auto parts store and pick up a couple of LED lights for it. I am just throwing in the other pic just cuz I love my truck so much....
  16. I hear ya, my thoughts exactly. A good container should be watertight, right? I have never had to run codes on my truck but I GUARANTEE if I glued the top on I would have to run them the next day.... Does anybody use the OBD1 port under the dash? That is what that port is right?
  17. Saw that post, good idea. Is it still in the theory stage or do you have a write up on it?
  18. Welcome! a 2WD is a perfect setup for a pre-runner kit.... just sayin'!! Looks nice!
  19. The regulator on the back of the instrument cluster, mine was bad too when I bought the truck. I picked one up at the junk yard for 10 bucks, I think they are 25 bucks or so new.Since you are new to the site I need to tell you about Alkorahil. That is Rob's screen name here and he is the go to guy for Nissan parts. He works at a dealership in the Dallas area and helps us all with information, parts, and keeping our trucks running great. I highly suggest messaging him for any of your parts needs....
  20. PM Alkorahil (Rob). He will make sure you get the right parts and they are all Nissan so you are not buying junk. I cant tell from the audio on your vid what it is or if I even hear what you are hearing. When wheel bearings go bad they tend to generate a lot of heat from friction. When I am questioning the integrity of a bearing I like to feel the hub or wheel in the bearing area for excessive heat. I have a laser thermometer that makes it real accurate but you can usually feel a difference between a good bearing and a bad one. Feel the good side then feel the bad side for a difference in heat build up. A bad wheel bearing can also give the brake symptoms you described. Have you jacked up the truck and felt for any play in the bearing?
  21. Thanks for finding that. I like the Tupperware idea except for maybe the access issue when running codes. I think I will go that route but not silicone the top on like Greg did. I will take some pics while I do it. Thanks again for the help, you surely helped me make up my mind on what method to use. Thanks to GrimGreg too for an ingenious idea....
  22. I was wondering about a waterproof box but wasn't sure about any heat build up etc. from ECU. I guess if GrimGreg did it with no issues it must be a viable solution! I will search his posts and see if I can find some info from him.
  23. Awesome! Thanks for the input.... I think when my headlight wiring harness/relay gets here this week I will tackle both of these tasks at once. It will be a sense of relief not having to worry about a drowned ECU. I will try to remember to document the process, is there a way to embed pics so they are permanent?
  24. I am getting ready to get the ECU off the floor and relocate it behind the glove box. Anyone that has done this have any tips or tricks they learned while doing it? My search turned up no info on this mod. If there is no posts or information on it maybe I will take pics of the procedure.
