  1. Alright just wanted to make sure i didn't put my engine in danger
  2. so the trailing arm look okay so im gonna go for sway bar links and ball joints there like 32 shipped for all four and i figure that my be worth it to keep the misses from driving my 01 r50 lol
  3. iron man springs from sierra expeditions are the cheapest wiht the lowest amount of lift
  4. Has anyone ever run mobil1 advanced fuel economy 0w-30 i was thinking of trying this since its starting to warm up here in AZ
  5. So my pathfinder numero dos has had an interesting problem since i bought it on the left side it has a suspension clunk when driving over bumps. So i took the old struts out blown kyb gr2 that were way past there prime wouldn't even decompress so i figured had to be the problem so i took the struts off my 01 which had 15k on them. Took a drive and now i have loud bangs on both sides. So i figure had to be strut mounts since i didn't replace those so i got all new strut mounts and coil springs seats insulator and now its a lot quieter and nothing on the right side anymore but the left still has the original clunk and cant figure it out for the life of me. Ball joints and sway bar end links look okay no torn boots or anything. SO any idea would be helpful im thinking maybe tie rod ends could this be the cause?
  6. i know on some toyotas with this bracket they put holes in the pulley so u can get to it through them with out removing the pulley
  7. lol yeah its not nearly as time consuming or pain as a bimmer u sholdnt have to replace the drain plug and crush washer every time mine doesn't even have said washer and i dont leak any oil i miss my bimmer days though paying for six and a half quarts of oil for a 2.5 with a 14 dollar filter for a crappy one. Still miss that car.
  8. the problem with the prefacelift is the lines in the headlights im gonna make a clear lenses by wet sanding the lenses from the inside and then do a black housing with a 8k hid if i can find a set of prefacelift headlights for cheap
  9. yeah lol she was upset the ones she bought me came like three days later in the mail she spent 180 bucks and i made ones that more light output for free lol these are the ones i have now
  10. headlights i made black using the stock headlights my wifey had already bought me a set for anniversary so i took these off taillights before clear taillights on the car
  11. i dont have spacers but i have black headlights and smoked taillights that i did myself if u have any questions i will help u if u need. I Still have the black headlights i made in my Sig pic if your interested. And if u go to led in the taillights u will have to have some kind of resistor unless u make sure u can get bulbs that have them otherwise u will have faults in your electrical system
  12. my dad had to show me how to get into 4lo fail on me

Dont you just turn the knob on your rig, or did you miss the instructions above your head on the other pathy? hahah

  13. lsd in mine has 230k on it i did a burnout the other and donuts and friction modifier wont that make it slip more instead of grab u do need is but a lil less over years can give some more bite to a diff and make it lock more but will also give it more chatter at least it did with the clutch type lsd in my old supra but if there a torsion then throw everything i said out the window
  14. krffabs is out of canada he makes sub frame drop which will give u a min of 4in of lift but it will keep all the geometry stock
  15. dont the windstars and nissan quest have a higher amp alternator for u vg guys
  16. i weighed a set of 32x11.5 vs. my michelin 31x10.5 and there was like a 6pound difference per tire if that makes u feel better
  17. yeah they were both for the front i put the 01 springs on the 96 and it lowered it .5 inch
  18. i havent done it but it doesnt look hard nissan like to make ball joint easy its not pressed in its bolted on so just take off the brakes unbolt the spindle from the strut pry the spindle off with a pickle fork and its three bolts unbolt it give a lil whack with the hamer and should pop out thats what i did with my hardbody and looks like the same exact part. hope this helps
  19. sorry i took so long got the measurements though free hight close up. bottom diameter top diameter and an interesting discovery i but these springs on my older 96 pathfinder cause i feared for age and these were off my 01 no i found that Nissan made two different coils for the front they seem the same dimension but the older one has an extra coil and is much harder to compress and my 96 came with 31x10.5r15 from the factory. so the challenge ice man is to find a spring that has a smaller tang side and a larger square side that's taller and a higher spring rate.
  20. im gonna post pictures of the stock springs with a tape measurer cause i dont think the moog ones are right or they maybe and im just done just need my girl to get off bf3 for like 2min and ill get those for u guys
  21. Just to bring up a quick fact tang side goes on the top i dont believe it wise to cut from thaat side because it used to help line up the isolator to keep it straight and lined up with the coil spring seat also the tang size is a slightly narrower than the other side so that might be a factor. And its tang and squared? i believe is what moog calls it as it is flat on the top
