  1. after i do a headlight restoration i just spray clear on it even after the polish there may be super fineite scrathes that are present in the lense the clear will fill that in and permanetly seal the headlights. this has been working out on my buddies f250 i did a couple weeks ago. http://www.oilburners.net/forums/showthread.php?52839-HOW-TO-Adding-a-UV-clear-coat-to-protect-your-Headlights!
  2. krfabs.com for the spring adapter wj coils from a 99 jeep grand cherokee rear springs sierra expeditions for the front spring but i think that wont be quite what u want in terms of lift.
  3. 99 no real difference except for the face lift and moving the shocks 01 the switched engines and go alot more power just thats like no difference
  4. I have both and one more time the vg does not have better low end power or any better power at any rpm that i can feel or see and my vg33e only has 25,000 miles engine and trans. fuel ecomnomy i doubt that too my scan gauge in the 01 averages about 18-19 in the city(i have a very straight route to work) and in the 97 i average 16-18 main reasonis i have to be higher in the torque band for longer say 2200rpm to get to 45 where as the 01 i get to 45 way shorter and cruiise there. And lets not forget coil on plug vs. distributer my 01 can adjust th timing based on the ecu reading and tps monitring for better fuel econmy not much but better a distributer can only adjust the timing so much without adjustment by hand. Sorry for the rant but i just dont agree at all. Now if u ask which one is easier to work vg33 all day hands down. and to get back on point i would just get a superhager for a frontier or exterra and call it a day most bang for the buck in my opinon.
  5. yeah test it that way and the brake booster was only 40 bucks just got a used one of ebay sent to the house just take the pin outta the brake pedal remove the four bolts on the boster the two on the master cylinder move the lines outta the way and take off the vaccum hose and your done. Now on mine i had to take bolt cutters to the top bolts to help wiggle them out.
  6. Stoic if the noise is coming from inside the car the vaccum leak is coming from your brake booster this exactly what just happened to mine dude and it can go bad quickly try adding a lil extra brake fluid and start you car if the brake pedal gets way too hard to compress i would say brake booster.
  7. i ordered the coil spring adapter i just havent recieved it yet.
  8. 15x8 with 3.75 back space on the way to fit the 31s im a happy camper

  9. pedal removed and taken out it just wont come off the firewall im about to take a sawsall to it its broken anyway.
  10. so i have to replace my brake booster and i have it all unbolted its loose not connectoed to the master cylinder but i cant get the damn thing out any one got any helpful hints that has done this before.
  11. since i dont live in canada i dont know what autoparts stores u have but i just went to my local autozone and they had a shorty universal antenna 14in high made from rubber says unbreakable on the case i just popped that in has been working great and only cost me 9bucks.
  12. my photographer friend did that without my asking i has no idea why.
  13. the lil bit of snow on the ground is about as much as u will find in tucson az lol thought id try
  14. just to clarify i found why my 96 is sooo much worse mainly or completly because my brake booster died today so i have to say disregard every thing i have said as they are null and void until i can fix it.
  15. just that the brake upgrade may not be worth it i should have been more specific if he ws just going for oem parts fit and finish i think swaping to the 00 might yield some good results but with everything else especially the rotors and pads to ebc pads i agree with u 100hundred percent bud
  16. ehhh i gotta say xplorx4 i have to disagree as i now own both a late and early model r50 the early model with brand new pads and rotors vs the 01 which has seen a couple thousand the 01 stops way shorter and everyone who drives them agrees i was thinking of doing this my self to be honest just my .02 cents though
  17. yeah i think they wil from other post i ordered one from summit that way if it dont fit i can send it back.
  18. so i have two pathfinders now and my 96 that i just bought has 31x10.5 15s brand new on it and im planning to do a lift on the 01 anyway which would require a 245 75 16 on it anyway so im trying to switch them over. that being said i already know the stock wheels wont fit over the caliper on my 01 but was wondering if anyone know if a aftermarket wheel would work i know a few members have done this but i dont know what was all in involved. Actually the only one i could think of is devonianwalk but if anyone else know please let me know cause if i can i want to order a set of 15x8 with a 3.75 backspace on monday.
  19. ill get those measurements for ya as soon as i get home bud
  20. i wish i could get a spec shet on the differences between the 928 and the 927 the 928 just apear to be a stiffer 927 from what i read only recomended for rigs with alot of front weight in the liberty crowd to bad my ironman springs came yesterday this seems interesting.
  21. that guy u call at sears that pisses u off because he cant do anything over the phone im him official title is lawn and garden tech specialist im also a part time soldier in the army i.e i do nothing.
  22. Okay so what i was reading is the 928 can be used but is considered to be a lil harsh for the liberty but it will fit from what ive seen is this true.
  23. i hear ya just looking at this thread this guy seemed to use them without any problems to the fit and install didn't like the ride though but the did fit. im asking where he found the post to use them on his liberty. http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=49358
