  1. Actually i was trained by two people how to detail a car when i was an intern in body shops and they actually both used Zaino it is a really popular product no complaints whatsoever the second shop got sponsored by chemical guys and that's when we started using them and there products have continued to evolve and that's why i love there products they improve as a company so to speak.
  2. Pm silverpath i know he made one from his build thread with a ypipe
  3. hey just from a guy ho likes to detail there cars just like u just would recomened maybe poping over to the chemicalguys website where i get all my gear and there products are amazing just my opinon though but might be worth checking out.
  4. yeah i switched from 16 to 15 jus because my second pathy already had 31x10.5 15 but i think 16s do look better.
  5. the scary part was it made no noise it just started rapidly pulling to right i thought i had a flat at first.
  6. When this happens don't want anyone to worry the car took zero damage no lines or abs cable or end links broke looks like the strut came through the top and came loose i was only going about 10mph when it happened and it i know they were going bad so i actually ordered a set and they came yesterday so im like no big deal ish happens glad it all worked out.
  7. yep one of my LT's on post has a 99 qx4 i parked it next to mine and he let me pop the hood the grill comes out a lil farther and lower and the hood is different to match this
  8. i read a way long time ago on the Nissan path about that happening the guy had a 99 with light blocking the grille and he said he put a cooling additive i think he used the hyper lube one and he never had a problem again. In the drift car i use pure distilled water with water wetter in phoenix in the height of July and i never get the gauge above half. I would try some water wetter i run it in my pathy and it is amazing i stay between 1/4 to a a lil under half considering how hot it is outside. http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/0703_turp_cooling_system_additives/viewall.html
  9. here u go bud this is pretty much what everyone else has between 4in to 3.75 in backspacing http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-84-6883/overview/
  10. the fenders look to be the same mounting for the corners for 96-99 pathy and qx4 the hood would be needed to have the grill and headlights fit properly and align right hope this helps
  11. Lol your in the lead i only made 3 cents you made 15 way to be a baller.
  12. dude are u at sub frame drop or just ac lift u look really high
  13. my hitch wasnt the problem that cleared no problem its the hitting the pan hard bar that bugs the hell out of me.I have to many projects on this damn thing oh well keeps it interesting.

  15. i honestly never knew they exsisted but now i know what i want for my birthday.
  16. that is what im talking abut exactly stoic the springs will help with lean and body roll but the fact is when going over dirt side ways i need shocks to keep it predicable so i can make sure i know what my truck will do in a situation like i siad im not trying to compete but i still like to get the most out of the vehicle next time the wife brings pathy 2 on base im gonna confirm this thanks for the info glad we got people like u around what some people may think small to remember may make the world of difference for another member
  17. i tried putting shocks from my 01 onto my 96 when i upgraded and they did not fit the opening s were different sizes i could fit them by flipping it upside down actually and it would work but wasn't worth it to me.
  18. Ahh i wish u had 2000+ xplor that way i could get the part numbers off yours those sound like good setup for me.
  19. lol yeah i know from what i hear he started some ish but he did have alot of creative ideas and a nice rig from just hate guessing rather have straight answers.
  20. That was stoic who did it that was and yeah im gonna see if i have any box steel long enough and just weld a piece together.
  21. dammit stoic i hate u cause i was happy with my cars performance i have sent u a pm
  22. So im going into my second round of upgrades on my 01 pathy and now im trying to focus more on the handling aspect now that i got the amount of height i wanted.. My goal is to not make my car an absolute brick a lil bumpy is fine but i want to keep the body roll down to a minimum. im not trying to build a pathfinder that pulls a g my main focus is that my truck is a rally rescue truck for alot of my friends and there imprezas out here and they don't like to wait on me to get there and i don't like sliding off into the distance to get there. And the fact that every now in then u can see both my pathys at a local rallyx event im not trying to win just like to have fun. So i have built race cars before but wanted to get the community s opinions on what i'm thinking i got cross drilled rotors and ebc pads waiting to come in. A missing link is a given don't know if ill just start making one or order it. My main thing is the struts now everyone here goes with the kyb gr2/excel g i have had these on cars and they are a bit stiffer but not by much. Now option 2 is i have a set of very old kyb gr2 that were blown that i pulled off my 96 just sitting there i can cut it open and get the koni strut inserts which would allow me to have a adjustable strut which means i could set is as i see fit. Now the difference between the two is about 20 bucks shipped But my main concern is if that i go with the koni i have no idea how stiff they will be and what to put in the back since koni doesn't make a rear strut i would probably have to go kyb rancho or bilstein but i don't know what would match up and balance with them. any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated i do wish alexrex was still around at least he could shed some light on the bilstein 5100s for me.
  23. so just dumbing it down for myself your saying that even though the SFD will lift the body of the truck with the same size stock tire the real ground clearance wont actually be changed because it would keep everything in the stock location and geometry just wanted to clarify to make sure i understand correctly
