  1. they switched from the second gen august of 1995 so technically its a 95 with a 96 build year if that makes sense but second gens have shackles and third have coil rears not that this is a viable source but u can see here and shop i went to for the daystar spacers told me they dont fit a 95 as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_4Runner#Third_generation_.281995.E2.80.932002.29
  2. went and looked at the daystars didnt like the quality looked like the mr gasket spacer i used on my stock spring which is fine but dry out in the desert im gonna go with these when i has more money http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-BILLET-BLOCK-LIFT-KIT-REAR-1-5-COIL-SPACER-2WD-4WD-4X2-4X4-/360654842462?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1996%7CModel%3A4Runner&hash=item53f8b42a5e&vxp=mtr#ht_2435wt_998
  3. just to clarify these spacers are for a 96-04 4runner 95 have shackles but good sir bravo bravo. on my way to 32 with ome springs.
  4. make sure they have a wall mounted spring compressor if not they tried with a hand compressor and thats no bueno.
  5. just do it all at once that way u can just do it and forget now i will say the iron man springs are like the lowest rate springs by far so even though u will lift your truck it may not feel as solid i woould either go with ome or the 4x4 parts .5 meduim duty for that or i would just get the air lift helper kit for 80 bucks then u can adjust how stiff u want the rear to be just my opinon though
  6. i can give u the measurements of the stock coils and ironman lift springs as well to copare but the way the widen at the bottom narrow and square at the top no other nissan 4x4 has that kind of front suspension and considering u got them from a nissan 4x4 store i would go with there the right spring. WHAT I WOULD ALSO DO IS GO BACK TO WHOEVER ASSEMBLED THAT STRUT KICK OPEN THE DOOR AND THROW THAT STRUT AT THE COUNTER AND DEMAND THEY BUY U A NEW ONE
  7. that ish was cross threaded i had that happen on a strut i did when i did my 96
  8. pics or it didnt happen lol and if it did im gonna mad as F#@% cause i literally have a 4runner grave yard at my buddies house and i know he has many of these laying around.
  9. Your not gonna just find the plate outside of a junk yard your best bet is to order the whole assembly cheapest one i could find ya sorry bro http://www.ebay.com/itm/97-98-NISSAN-PATHFINDER-4X4-AUTOMATIC-GEAR-SHIFTER-ASSEMBLY-OEM-/350802221407?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1997%7CModel%3APathfinder&hash=item51ad71195f&vxp=mtr#ht_896wt_721
  10. most of them are written by e3 themselves the good ones anyway. just do a google search for e3 electrode failure
  11. Remove those e3 garbages now u will regret it if u dont they will fail harrddddddd if u want more details i will pm u but just get some irdium ngk or bosch and youll be golden
  12. easy not safer ever have a front strut fork break on the highway sends your car into disaster
  13. welcome to the forums https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-camber-alignment-kit-p-2809.html that will fix your problem
  14. nice man glad to see your still going with it dude good luck ill keep u posted on the coilovers as well as the strut spacers i had fabbed up
  15. he did that to have access u dont have to grind the wheel to make them fit u could just leave the hub caps off or pop them up everytime u need to lock the hubs he just did it for convienence u will see in the picture u posted only the center of the cap was cut to make a hole. u will notice a increase in mpg plus less wear and tear on your cvs i have them on both my r50 pathfinder and i got 2-3mpgs from both of them
  16. zj springs are different than wj springs i have tried to flip flop them around but they dont work on each other them might work on an r50
  17. saw that along time ago a subframe drop and extremly expensive shocks which u have to make custom mounting point it looks like just to be at the same height as a krfabs kit i mean on the plus u get some awesome travel but the amount of work to make them go in is bananas are trucks arent prerunners which is the only benifit to them but this is all just my opinon i mean i have been working on my coilover project for a while on these and im not even close to the cost of those.
  18. the only difference is on the 01 there threaded potion is shorter the shaft are the same length but if u werent to use the spacer on the 96 with a universal mount it would have alot of play
  19. its just a gasket it doesnt do anything but keep tiny noises down u dont need to replace it.
  20. weird how that works but these have been great for me.
  21. WTH im with fluerys i see this making no sense whats so ever
  22. u guys got DRLS wtf screw that im moving to Canada
  23. i have no idea who makes them but they have a lifetime warranty the send u a paper that has the info on them should they go bad
