yeah that happened in my 93 se with the dual trip it wil be pretty hard to fix i ened up just buy a new cluster. I have a cluster from a older pathy that had the orange on it that you could probably take your white inserts and put on instead if u want to mess with taking then needles off. You an have it for the cost of shipping. PM me

I used some clear super glue ( the kinda where its in 2 different containters and u mix it) and i put a bunch in there and held it for 20 mins and that strip never came off again!

sounds like a bad connection or the door switchs are failing. Mine used to flash when i would turn sharp becasue there is a short in one of my door switches (no i never fixed it i just dont use the dome light unless on manual. I would take the dome like assamly down and check the connections on it

pretty sure i read some where a soder connection fails inside the box and it causes them to not work or lock and unlock when they want to. I dont know where the box is but im sure someone will chime in and mention that. You cna look at the box when u find itand see if u see any broken soder points if not you might have to replace it and i would recommend just getting one from someone who is parting their truck out.

when you say twin cities are you talking from minnesota or r u from somewhere else?

I have a 86 nissan 300zx with a vg30e same as our pathy in it and it has a 70 amp alternator In was wondering u guys know if the pathfinder alternator is the same or close to a maxima alternator? Whatim getting at is that if a pathfinder finder alternator can fit into my z i want to upgrade to the mean green one that beastpath has recently bought. (180 amps ) The common swap in my car is the maxima alternator form like 89-92? and its 90amps so i was seeing if the maxima one is a direct bolt on for the pathfinder as well if it is i might try this mean green alternator. I normaly would just try it but since im ordering it online and its like 350 bucks with probably no return i want to make sure it works first lol Thanks for any insight im stuggling to find any info on this. haha just get some 6000k color ones then i didnt want the 6k becasue it would blind ppl the blue ones are toned downa a bit. I found that out on my z so im using the ricer ones

i bought some a years ago and sady its still in its box sinc ei dont knowhow to put it on and dont want it to look stupid ha

i have hids in mine and they are defiantly bright :-)

do you think that that alternator would fit on my 300zx z31? it also has a vg30e and the alternator is on that same side. I know the turbo ones have it on the other side. that would be a massive upgrade from my 70 amp i have now

i bet its a bad contact in the switch.

Heres mine A mod i havent taken a picture yet is I made my guages blue and the needles red so it looks like a vw cluster the rest of my dash lights were also converted to blue so it all matches! BTW you cant see the led light strips hanging down i was bent way down to show what they looked like you just see the blue glow

is your tack electronic or is it mechanical? mine was mechanical and it had a little white thing that spun and i was able to replace that to make mine work.

o ok i went there before but i didnt scroll down enough to get to the headers part i just saw pathfinder and clicked on that and didnt see the headers part and figured it was the wrong page

mine was like that for 6 months then i releaized that the end of my speedo cable was broke behind the cluster

my pathfinder has gm syconromesh in it and it works great now no grinds(used to all the time) and easy as butter to shift in the winter can get cold here in mn. So try that if u want idk i havent has anyproblems and its been 2 years and it works just as good as it did the day i switched to it

one way i fixed it i me and my mechanic got supper strong bolts(dont remember the guage) that thread into the head like the orignals and then took the orginal manifold and had it planed flat. The reason i did this is because the orignal one wont warp as much as what a new one that hasnt already warped before. Plus the stronger bolts will allow it to take more of a stress and not have them snap or leak. worked good for me! never had a problem again

ok make sure the speaker wires are hooked up right + to + and - to - (yes it can matter) and connected tight. Like i siad check the main 3 wires yellow red and black first though behind the deck i can almost garentee its them

my fronts on my 92 look like they are 6.5" but i havent taken then door panel off yet so not sure perviosu owner replace dthem with new ones sma ethe the rear
