I'm currently running Napa shafts, which say Cardone right on the box, I've been wheeling quite a bit and can't complain. If I had more time I would of done the Rockford boots. I think the Nissan shafts are plenty strong, and the most reliable. I just am cheap.

This same shop tells you this, and in your other thread you don't have fusible links. Adamzan sounds spot on, these techs suck.

We all know there are fusible links. Time to find a new mechanic.

I had check courtesy parts and it showed one, just being cautious. A 93 showed up in the yard today so I might go pick that one anyway. Thanks everyone!

Actually the pin isn't missing, it most likely didn't come with one installed. You can still buy the pin from the dealer. Hit up Alkorahil, he can get you one for cheap.

As the title states...are 87-95 idler arms all the same. I know the pitman changed. Want one to rebuild with the Bandit bushings, and all I have is a 88 (and I'll I have had for the last 6+months are 2 doors.....) to pick one from.

I don't know what brand of adapter you used, but I've read some of them just leak. I think it was some reviews at Summit.<br /><br />Oh I replaced a center link. Its a Moog, as mine was so bad I couldn't wait for a Hoohaa to show up. I need another car/bike/segway to take to work in situations like this.<br />

There is a how to on how to do it, and although it starts out for the VG30I Pathfinders, its easier on the VG30E. Follow your top radiator hose to the top of the block, there is a coolant passage with two plugs going into it. The bigger of the plugs is the one you are after.

Uh, have you checked your valves? If you broke a timing belt while driving you probably did some damage.....

FYI, when I fill my tank, full is in between 3/4 and F. So when I'm on E, I still have a ways to go.

Nissan=NGK in my book.

Take the E3 plugs back and get whatever NGK your vehicle came with stock.

If you PM Alkorahil or post in his Nissan thread in the services section, he will find you the right pinion gear for your VSS. Easy to change.

You can't tell unless you can find a sticker/note from the previous owner.Even if you pop the upper timing cover off and the belt looks good, Id change it. Belt breaks and you most likely will bend valves. Some did have a auto antenna. The whole thing is gone or just the mast? These are not known for getting good MPG's. First thing (besides a basic tuneup) would be to check your codes. There is a how to in this section somewhere. Your parking brake could be anything from broken wire, to just needing adjustment, so hard to say.

The problem isn't the size, its the width. I've seen members run 33x10.50x15 on stock suspension/no body lift. I think with a 3 inch suspension, those would work. If you did 32's how wide is the tire? I know 32x11.5x15 is pretty common, you may run into places that won't mount a 11.5 tire on your legos though.

You can download the factory service manual in the garage section, that might help you as well.<br />Starting your own thread in the garage might be a good idea as well. What you are saying is exactly the reason I went with my Pro Comp 3000's. I had read a few people on here saying the Ranchos were really firm.

By what you posted, its a M14x1.5x60mm. Do you have a fastenal store near you? My local Ace Hardware has a billion bolts as well.

Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. There are two plugs there. Its either a green or yellow end on mine.

I think a majority of people hate it/don't care if it works to begin with. I can't help much, mine works, and we swapped the brain on my buddies to get his working properly.
