My buddy has the airlift bags on his 93. He hasn't killed them yet, been a few years and he wheels it pretty good. I just opted for new springs.

I think since Moog is owned by Federal Mogul its a crap shoot what part you end up with. Probably a few different suppliers.

Interesting. I had 3 Moog 555 TRE's and one non 555 (Rock auto strikes again) and I actually had better luck with the 555's. In fact the non 555 boot ripped early in its life, and I could never get a zerk to thread in properly so I just left the little bolt in.

And I'd much rather have a castle nut than nyloc. Probably my dads horror stories.

Well if you read better you would see that I was quoting Rob and that is what HE said !!! :lmao: :lmao: see those little things at the beginning and end of the paragraph? they are called quoation marks, they look like this " ", that means your quoting someone !!! LOL Doesn't show up that way in Tapatalk.

You didn't even buy an OEM starter!

I should of called you when I read that, but I was at the movies and the previews just ended......glad you got it figured out.

New Rotors&Pads, front brakes get hot/smoke? Uhhhhh.

I'm no R50 expert, but I think the bushings that hold the rack and pinion also cause the clunk if its doing it while turning the wheel. -

A fairly solid clunk while sitting still changing gears? That sounds like a transmission mount/motor mount.
-

Have you taken the wheels off and spun the hub? You should be able to eyeball it if they are warped. -
Looks good man. Hey I have 3 Lego caps if you need some. I snagged them from PnP, so just give me whatever I paid. They are painted black so you would have to paint them. Good shape though.

I ordered one from Rock auto, they shipped it in the retail box it comes in. By the time it reached me, the end cap holding the grease was blown off, and then Rock auto argued with me like it was my problem. Went to Napa, paid 60 for a reman with a lifetime warranty.

If you don't off road much, I wouldn't worry. Unless your roads have potholes everywhere?

http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?/topic/255-Installing-New-CV-Axles

Its not really that bad, thread above covers most. Might want to start spraying your favorite penetrating oil ASAP to help with any possible stuck bolts.

As far as I know, nobody makes a aftermarket, stronger CV axle.

Time to buy your own tools. Start with a small basic set, add stuff you need as you go along. Then you don't have to rely on others.

The putty I used worked for 2 weeks. Then it was absolute garbage.
-
I had a local parts store get one in, it was definitely smaller. Good to know for future people though.
-
What size was it? I could only find 15 gallon ones aftermarket.
-
There is a poll, so even though nobody comments, they might vote, which makes it unread again.

Once you remove the access panel you will be able to see all the hoses.

My gas tank looked like it had a leak up there, turned out to be a small pinhole leak at a spot weld on the bottom of the tank. It was easily spotted once I removed the gas tank protector. Few others have had the same leak.

That's how I feel about Durangos! I have the 3000's as well. Little firm on pavement, but like butter on dirt.
-
4wheelparts has them for 155 free shipping with boots.

Rear passenger side panel. Pop the hatch, that giant panel on the side above the wheel well.

Whatever you pulled it off of was at least 10-15 years old right? You could of got a saggy set, that's part of what I was worried about. When I was gonna do the JGC springs, I was just going to buy the Moogs off Rockauto. No sag worry.
