What exactly was the point of that?

Pics look great !!! Making me more anxious as I draw nearer to ordering my lift. Since I been waiting over 3 years to make this happen. Did you adjust your LSV at all?

Atta girl! LMAO. You tell him!

Well IIRC the crank thing that you are talking about screws into a plate that is in the channel of the roof rack. I believe you can unscrew the crank all the way to pull the bars off and leave the plate(kind of like a nut) there since you are going to be putting the crossbars back on there. Since the end caps are still there the plate thats in the channel isn't going anywhere.

Flooding engine/trouble starting at altitudes

Haven't seen you around for a while johnson! Glad to hear that you still got the Pathy! -
Good choice. Those are the same wheels I have.

When was the last time you cleaned and oiled the filter? Since you said your MAF was clogged, just like Casey said, it could be the gunk from the dirty filter. I couldn't believe how dirty my filter was until I cleaned and oiled it a couple of weeks ago. Maybe you should try cleaning it.

I had an XM unit in the Pathy for about a year until I got tired of the same stations playing the same music. (Sounds kinda like why I got XM in the first place, because the FM stations were playing the same stuff). All the stations are on playlists and if you do a lot of driving, more often than not, you'll hear the same song at least once or twice on the same station in one "sitting." I loved XM for about the first 4-5 months. I have a few friends with Sirius and they still love it after a year/some have had it for over 2. I've heard more great things about Sirius from long term subscribers and more bad things about XM. I got my XM radio, the Roady 2 for $49 and after a year and cancelling it, I just threw it away after looking on Ebay auctions and seeing that they were selling for $20. I'm probably going to look into getting a Sirius radio pretty soon. The Roady 2 has a built in FM modulator so I just went that route. Didn't have any problems with it either such as static or engine noise etc. Let me know after a year if you still think XM rocks!

Replacing struts/shocks but do I need springs too?
DJ Dank replied to muttmobile's topic in The Garage
The KYB GR-2 struts are not OEM. I replaced my OEM's with them and yes it was a drastic improvement. -
where to get used/replacement parts?
DJ Dank replied to sigtauenus's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Where are you located at? There's a JY in Eastern Washington that is huge and they have quite a few R50's. http://www.spaldings.com I did a quick search of their inventory and looks like they have 4 of them. But they're not cheap...but compared to the dealer, I don't know. -
Happy New Year!!!!

What did you guys get out of the AC lift?
DJ Dank replied to nissandoms47's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
How long did it take for you to get the lift from AC after you placed your order? Just wondering because I plan on ordering it fairly soon. -
XOC is not all that... I'm sure people will chime in about their feelings about XOC. I don't know how much I agree with you...I think the R50's have a strong presence on this board. I do agree that this is an amazing site and the combined knowledge amongst the members is invaluable! I can't remember the last time Jim was around on this board or posted a message. If I recall correctly, he was more active back before the board took the Invision Power Board format...when it was an HTML based board. I think there's a handful of people who are still around that remember and participated in those days. Not sure how much I agree with you on that either. I recall the Xterra being marketed to a much younger and active generation. Just think of the commercials... I think a good percentage of the people who the Xterra's were marketed to, were barely old enough to drive when the older Pathfinders(WD21's) were new. I got you beat by one... #105 here.

Like everyone said, adding a bigger exhaust tip isn't going to do much. Think of it this way, imagine blowing through a thin straw...like those coffee stirrer straws. If you added something like a funnel to the end of it, it would still be just as hard to blow through. Now imagine blowing through a fat McDonalds/Big-Gulp type straw...sly Your best bet is to get a whole new exhaust with bigger pipes.

TJM to restart T-15 bumper production!
DJ Dank replied to XPLORx4's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Hmmm...thats interesting if they did have them. As much as I would like them to have them in stock, I don't want to get my hopes up. So keep up posted!!! -
You're right about that... Here's Doja as a puppy.

Thats awesome! You see guys, Phil's not so bad after all!

Just seafoamed the Pathy this afternoon for the first time. There was a $hitload of smoke that came out. It was funny driving around the neighborhood leaving a trail of smoke. First thing I noticed was how smooth the car idled. But after reading a few posts on here about it, I didn't pour it into either of the recommended vacuum lines. I used one of the two vacuum lines that was attached to the intake tubing elbow using a funnel to pour it in. But seemed like it still did its job.

Don't forget ALL the interior panels...all you want is a bare metal interior!

I wasn't aware you could report that 88. I just got used to seeing cheap "Buy Now's" and excessive shipping since Ebay doesn't take a cut on the shipping price. But maybe if they started, that might change things.

I'm looking to change out the oil in the diffs and the transfer case...never had them done since I bought the vehicle at 60k and I'm at 103k. :o

Your speedometer needle is warping from the sunlight? Wow never heard of that problem before. I've got 5% tint on the front windows so I've never encountered that prob. Are you sure the sunlight is the culprit? Its hard for me to imagine that sunlight can be directed so precisely into your gauges and onto the needles to cause them to warp... How bad is the warp? Post some pics! Now you have an excuse..."You say I was going 80 officer? Sorry, my warped needles said that I was going 70"

Whats wrong with the shape of them??? Its not like they're that much different than any other vehicle?
