  1. I love the AC lift. Except that I just had to replace passenger cv today cause boot was torn, and new brake pads. The OME lift is definitely a step up from stock and definitely a nice setup but for the $$$ don't you want a car that actually looks lifted?
  2. Wow that is a great deal! Boy I wish I could take part in this!
  3. Bummer! I was looking forward to some sort of dip. Gas prices have not moved from $2.99 out here for at least a month!
  4. IIRC he paid close to 3x that for his pair in Australia.
  5. I know exactly what you're saying man...I tried looking a few years back and did not find any luck. The pic you are showing, the headlights look just like ours. I think some of it has to do with the fact that the ones in that picture are brand spankin new and you are comparing it to yours which probably are dirty like the rest of us. The 99-04 headlights are not the same shape as the 96-99's. Dean has some nice HID's which I recall ending up costing him quite a pretty penny and good luck on finding a pair. But they look sick. Here are a couple of them.
  6. But your stock wheels were 16's weren't they? When I swapped in my brembo drilled rotors a few years back, I didn't run into any issues since I stayed with 15's. Edit: on a side note, I recall reading that drilled rotors are not supposed to be turned...can someone verify this?
  7. Yeah I didn't realize how close you were either after I looked up where Parker was. Damn you're in a sweet spot with all of that so close around. I noted where I'm at on the map. I spend most of my weekends in Gardiner and in the Park since the in-laws work for NPS.
  8. Yeah thats awesome! I fly fish the Yellowstone River about 3x-4x a week. The Salmonfly hatch earlier this month was incredible! Did you manage to catch any of that?
  9. Hey just saw this post. I'm over in Montana only 30 minutes north of the North entrance of Yellowstone Park. If you decide to go check out Yellowstone, you should let me know as we can do a meet in the park or something like that and drive the "loop." You really ought to check out the Park since you're out here!
  10. Only pics I have of her bone stock. Only one I could find POST lift. But I have plenty of pics of the journey in between.
  11. Pshhh! Yeah i knew about that too...Damn you for finding it out! j/k Yeah that would be nice...
  12. I believe thats for the 99.5+ models that you can turn on the horn on and off. Mine's always just been the flashers. I know myself along with some 96-99 owners have tried this before in the past with out any luck.
  13. What kind of roof rack do you have? Unless its the newer style SE rack with the airdam, I can't imagine getting any mileage improvement from removing the crossbars. I get about 16-17 on the freeway usually loaded up. Thats with lift and bigger tires.
  14. That is pretty cool! I just hit 108k miles too...
  15. LOL, too bad the season is over. If it wasn't, I'd think twice. :tonguefinger:
  16. All the stuff you've mentioned seem cosmetic and superficial aside from the alarm. I imagine that can be annoying. You didn't mention anything bad mechanically about the car. For what its worth, seems like you have a mechanically sound car with no problems. That to me would be worth keeping and fixing the minor nuances.
  17. Hey guys, appreciate the pics and replies. I managed to figure it out. I wasn't able to find the harness via sticking my hand through the square opening but instead removed the taillight and tugged on the grommet and found the plug that way. Yeah it really is as easy as they say ...when you've found the right plugs!
  18. So bringing this post back up because I tried to connect my Reese T connector kit for my Pathy but was not successful. In the drivers side rear corner, I pulled the plastic trim back and saw three white plugs, I was able to unplug the middle connector but my T connector did not want to fit in there. It looked like a good fit but no go. The other two plugs on that side were smaller sizes. On the passenger side rear corner, I didn't even see any plugs. I tried to stick my hand in the square access hole right behind the tail light and felt around but there was nothing. The plugs on the driver side rear were visible right behind the plastic trim. There was no need to dig around in the square hole to feel around or anything. The wiring is a Reese and its specifically for R50's and Altimas. Whats wrong here? I also have a factory plug underneath the car, on the passenger side above the spare tire. I don't have the factory harness but was googling all over trying to find something and the closest looking thing was for an Xterra. What do you think about this? Trailer wiring
  19. Too funny...sorry its been so long for a reply. Been a busy holiday weekend. Not even worth posting pics. Two dents about the size of a soft ball and a small indentation on the bumper about the same size. I've already replaced the clear turn lens and life goes on. As for the deer....LOL...Its funny because it was only a matter of time before I'd hit a deer living in Montana and right by Yellowstone Park. I dodge dozens of deer every day. I've always wondered how I would handle "finishing off" a deer if I've ever were in that situation and everyone out here has been in that situation. Thats why everyone carries their rifle with them. If I didn't have anything I was thinking maybe backing over it or something...lol It was dark and when I went to examine the deer, it was still breathing. Breathing pretty hard. I felt like $hit. The only thing I had was this old rusty dull Rambo knife in the Pathy that I meant to throw away but never got around to do. I felt like Rambo at one point because when I got closer to try and slit its throat, it jumped up and tried to take off and I had to jump on it and pin it down. Its two front legs were broken...not a pretty sight or memory. My girl wanted nothing to do with it but was freaked out when I had blood on my hands. Not easy working with a dull rusty knife.
  20. Hey whats up gang! Hit a deer last night on the freeway going 75mph! The bugger was on my side just barely out of the range of my lights. It had made it across two lanes of opposing traffic It popped out and the driver side front corner of the bumper smacked the deer in the chest or front region and spun its A$$ around and slammed into my door. Pulled over and realized my left turn signal had cracked and the fender piece on the bumper had ripped off. The front corner of the bumper plastic had inverted about the size of a softball. And whitetail hair all over the bumper. Had to finish the deer off... This morning I wake up and see deer guts and crap all over my door and I see a couple of minor dents from the deer's A$$ smacking into my door. I got super LUCKY going that fast and slamming into it. Only thing really needed to replace is another clear turn signal.
  21. Hey welcome back Aaron! Nice to see you back!
  22. Wow, that LCD... Whats the outside of that thing look like?
  23. I wonder what he actually got for it since they're asking 6995...
