  1. I figure I'd add this tidbit. Get your longer Rancho's from Amazon.com. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and they sell the RS99116's for like $76 a piece. AC sells them for $75 but then you get nailed with their inflated shipping charges. Amazon offers free shipping AND when I ordered them they were having a promotion for $30 off any auto parts purchase over $99. So i ended getting them for $122 and change, shipped to me in 3 days. Can't beat that. Camber bolts can be found cheap at Summit Racing. SummitRacing $8.95 a piece/$17.90 a pair compared to the $30 a pair AC sells them for.
  2. Nice post Nismo. Its hard to find anything I don't like about it. I guess maybe some more HP's in the 3.3 would be nice even after adding exhaust, intake, and the little knick knacks like NGK wires and Iridiums. But then again this isn't a race car. Fuel efficiency used to be an issue with me but I've learned to adapt and drive like a grandma. I wish that the stock mirror tint was either on ALL windows or none...I hate the "Lets tint all the windows except the front!" BS. But regardless I was able to match it pretty well. Driving the beast, I do feel safe in it, compared to driving my GF's little Escort or my old Protege in Maui. Like Pezzy mentioned, it is a sexy bitch. My Pathy that is. It is nice driving down the street and not seeing an R50 like yours. I have yet to see another lifted R50 since I've owned this thing(4 years now).
  3. Congrats on your R50 purchase!
  4. LOL thats what I thought but I recall reading somewhere at some point that it should be done.
  5. How many bolts did you end up buying? I've heard some people not needing any, some people picking up 2(1 per side), and some using 4(2 per side). Found some Ingalls from Summit that are a pretty good deal. Summit Racing
  6. I am planning to do the rears myself and have someone do the fronts. From what I've read it should be relatively simple. Question: Is a rear alignment necessary after doing the rear? I know it is up front when installing the lift but what about the back?
  7. So was it the 97 that had the evap system under the hood? I ran into that code also and dealt with it contantly for a year before finally discovering the fix. Turns out my vent control valve inside the canister was stuck open throwing the p1440 code indicating an EVAP leak. I took the canister out and sprayed wd40 on the rusty valve and manually activated the valve via a hot wire and saw that it was closing and opening properly. Its been almost two years and the light hasn't come on since.
  8. Tiesto is some good stuff. I've worked with him on numerous occasions at a few parties.
  9. Ahh yes frvade... All those countless hours wasted... :furious:
  10. Do you plan on removing the rest of the front bumper? Or mounting the new one beneath the existing piece like shown in the picture? I think it would look good if you removed it.
  11. Hmm never seen a lowered wd21 before. Being a former owner of a lowrider, I can't say it looks terrible but I agree that lowered a 4wd is a waste.
  12. Well I thought I had posted some templates in this thread. But I guess not? Since I work at a printing press now, I can print up these cards on high quality card stock. However, since its a club I'm apart of, and not solely for personal use, I don't think my discount can apply. But here they are.
  13. Happy Birthday iLLegal!!!
  14. So what did you use for the vacuum ports?
  15. My only concern is I'm unsure what the diameter of the vacuum ports on the civic intake are...I read on the pathfinder, they are 5/8".(Can someone verify this?) These possibly look smaller than that just looking at the picture.
  16. So been wanting to do this for years now..replace the plastic S-bend intake pipe with a straight one. I've seen pics of people who've done this but I haven't been able to find out where they got it. I've read through some AC posts about people cutting out the middle of a civic intake pipe which does contain two vacuum ports. So is that all that is attached to the stock intake pipe? Just 2 vacuum hoses? I'm thinking this intake for a 99 civic, might do the trick. There is a 3rd port on this civic intake that you can see in the pic on the backside but I think if I cut it off right before it, and cut off the other end, it'll work. Any thoughts? I haven't had a chance to measure out exactly the length I need to make this work, unless someone already knows/has.
  17. Too bad he died along with his liver.
  18. This is the same for R50's assume? This week its been down to -20F and in the mornings when I drive to work and I disengage my Ebrake, the light still remains on. It won't be until around lunch time before the light will come off. Just a nuisance more than anything.
  19. All your bases are belong to us.
  20. Well my name's not DJ Dank for nuthin'... But yeah that operation looks ok. Definitely the SOG(sea of green) method, to turn over maximum profit in minimum time. I can't remember what country it was, Norway or somewhere around there, they'd allow residents to have like 3 plants so they grew their plants in like 50 gallon buckets and grew trees.
  21. Another reason to get the TJM! That snow bank would have been a sno cone with the TJM. LOL.
  22. From everything I've read and heard, you should be spending your money more towards the antenna and mic rather than the radio. The nicest radio won't be worth a damn if you get a crappy antenna and mic.
