  1. Yeah I've been thinking about the Rancho's but after reading so much about them over at AC board, I'm kinda hesitant. Tons of people have had to use that lifetime warranty benefit quite a few times to swap their blown out Rancho's. I'd rather get a good reliable shock that I know will with stand and not poop out after a few months. I've also heard good things about the 9000x's though. They say setting it at 9 will make your teeth rattle? lol
  2. The Stillen exhaust is a full catback. Its called a Pro-X. I bought it exactly a year and a half ago along with my Stillen intake. I just got rid of my old resonator. No need for it. Another guy on a Nissan forum had his Pathy dynoed with the same Stillen intake/exhaust set up and got a 27hp increase. But its reported with that combo you get a 20% hp increase. So you do the math!
  3. With my Stillen exhaust, when I'm idling there's this nice growl and tone to it. Very noticeable. I've had it for over a year now and it seems like it's "broken in" nicely. The muffler has resinated nicely so that when I'm accelerating up to 3500rpm's, it roars. Its kind of hard to describe the sound. Maybe I'll try recording it.
  4. Hey Dylan, thanks for the compliment brotha. I hope you DO get the REVO's. Some say the price is little higher than most AT's however, the minimal price difference makes a substantial difference. You can read a lot of reviews at tirerack.com. 31"s fit fine too. They'll give your ride a nice agressive look especially if you get some rims with the right backspacing. My car is in need of new shocks/struts. My next investment on my Pathy will be the new 3"/6" lift thats supposed to come out in May for the R50 Pathy's. Finally!!! BigJ, I remember you got some Kyb gr2 struts and rancho rears? How are those treating you? Definitely gonna get the KYB struts, but was contemplating between the Rancho rsx's or the kyb gas-a-just's. Right now my shocks/struts are still stock with 75k miles. Definitely time to change since I find myself bottoming out frequently with a car full of passengers. But I'd rather only have to change them once when the new lift is out, rather than do it now and again later. DJ PS BigJ, I like your new exhaust :cool2:
  5. I own 31x10.5x15 REVO AT's. They are great. Superb traction this winter. Drove up to the mountains this winter to hit the slopes many times. They are great. I've only had them for 4 months now. Hardly any wear at all so far. I can't say a single bad thing about them.
  6. Throttle body spacers, after much discussion on the AC message board, are a waste of $$$ on Pathfinders. For a direct port injected engines, the "swirling" of the air, which they supposedley do, have no effect on the performance is what I've summed up from their discussions. Just a marketing ploy to buy their product IMHO. There's a guy on the AC board JGricci, who has Stillen headers but I know for a fact that Stillen discontinued production on them. I don't think they were a successful venture on their part. I know that if you want to do a rear disc coversion, there are kits out there available but they are lots of $$$, in the thousands. AND you also LOSE your ABS capability. I've read this from many sources. I know that Stillen makes/use to make a sway bar for the R50 Pathfinders. If you have any luck finding one, let me know. And one last tip, which I'm sure 88pathoffroad will agree with me on. Don't buy from AC(4x4parts.com). Don't get me wrong, they are a plethera of valuable knowledge and info, however they charge outrageous prices for their products. Not once have I seen a product and thought to myself" wow, thats a good deal", its more like the opposite, "you gotta be kidding me? You want HOW much for those lift coils?"
