  1. Instruction manual? We don't need no stinkin instruction manual!! LOL -BR
  2. When I pulled the battery cable loose this past weekend for my install, had the same issue. The SLIP eventually went away and then the VDC went away. I assume after the ECU reset itself... -BR
  3. Nothing to report, very easy and straightforward install. Good instructions, one minor thing left out, but nothing to fret over. We will see if I notice much difference in power... -BR
  4. Hey guys, Has anybody installed the AirAid intake kit for the 05 and up Pathy/Frontier/Xterra? I am going to be installing mine this weekend and wanted to know if there where any "Gotchas" to look out for? It looks to be a very simple and straightforward process, but we all know how that can go! LOL BTW - The Kit number is 520-188 Thanks!
  5. Stay away from Fram... PureONE, Wix, and K&N are all good filters. I use the PureONE and Mobile One 5w30 -BR

  10. Yep, just going to hide them under the dash somewhere. The XM unit I purchased has a line out, so I just had to get a 3.5 mini-jack to RCA. w00t -BR
  11. No RCAs... Ordering the AAI-NIS2 tonight... XM rocks BTW! -BR
  12. Hey guys, Well I went with an aftermarket XM. I could not make myself dump out $300 when I got the same thing for $75 at best buy. My question is though, does the BOSE head unit have RCA's in back? The unit has the CD/RearAV button and from my understanding, that means it has rear RCA connections. Anybody able to shed some light on this for me?? The XM I purchased has a line out so I want to use it instead of the FM modulator. I know I could go with the PAC unit, but If the BOSE already has RCAs then it is not a big deal. Thanks!
  13. Granted the stock unit will never sound as good as an Alpine or Kenwood but the BOSE sounds decent and does all I want. I used to have MTX 10s in my other vehicle and Polk speakers, but I have since moved out of that stage of my life and now just want a good radio. Thanks for the information! -BR
  14. Hey guys, I am thinking about purchasing the factory XM radio kit for my Pathy and wondering if any of you guys have installed the OEM kit? Looking for any troubles, gotchas, etc? Thanks!
