  1. lol. Yup. Brain fart. Must have been all those exhaust fumes from my blown muffler last week
  2. Don't remember exactly. But it is pretty much the XE (basic model) but they added things the SE model had like power windows/doors, and a nice sticker on the side of the truck. Like nunya stated, just a trim package. Was only available in Canada I believe. Edit: Fixed my model name error
  3. Some people don't have the equipment or the skills to build one. Then you gotta add the price of materials, labor, over-head, and finally a markup for profit (it is a business). So that is a fair price I think. My rear bumper and carrier cost me about $250 in materials. My labor was free, so it ended up pretty cheap, and I made it pretty much exactly the way I wanted. Though there was likely more swearing involved in building mine
  4. He has the "Chilkoot Edition" pathy. Basic pathy with a few premium upgrades.
  5. x10 on fleury's front plate. I got one my on truck. You can also get a set of plates from 4x4parts.com (Automotive Customizers). https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-19872004-pathfinder-c-90_415_660_663_344.html Order the front one from fleury, then the rest from 4x4parts.
  6. My standard 2.75ton jack brings it up off the ground without any problems. Though I only have 31's on the truck.
  7. Yeah if you had done a simple search, it would have answered your question pretty quickly. Someone else mentioned the same thing in another thread just this week. But to answer your question anyways, you will need spacers if you are going to try and fit 32" tires in there. But for the price of spacers (around $200 a pair), it is the same price, if not cheaper to buy a new set of rims with a better off-set to push the tires out. Unless you really want to keep your original rims, it is probably a better buy to get new rims.
  8. Lots of after-market ones that do the same thing. I bought a set of after-market ones for my R50 and they work great with no problems. Was there something special about the Nissan ones?
  9. It is already really hard to find companies willing to come up with and develop R50 parts. If someone comes by copies their product and under sells them right away, they likely won't bother to make anything else. If they were selling it for say $250, then I could see a reason for wanting to make it cheaper. But damn, its $40 and they are willing to ship it internationally. Hell I have problems trying to get many US companies to ship outside the US. Like the others have suggested. Come up with some new products. We need people to develop NEW parts for our trucks. Simply copying an already good/inexpensive part won't go very far.
  10. The exterior of the radiator might look good, but you could be blocked up inside. Friend with a 98 pathy had a lot of over-heating problems that came out of no-where. All of a sudden he would start over-heating and the fluid boiling out of the over-flow. He couldn't use the a/c anymore either, as it would cause the engine to over-heat within a minute or two! Rad was clean on the outside and looking in through the cap it looked good too. He flushed it out a few times with no difference. We changed the rad 2 weeks ago and there was a huge difference. First of all it took a ton more fluid to fill it (like double the amount he used before to completely fill the system). Meaning that a lot of the rad tubes were likely blocked. Even after more than a few flushes it didn't help clean that out. The only option in that instance is a new rad. Once changed the engine has always stayed nice and cool with no problems. We put the a/c on full blast and drove around for 15mins and it always stayed at normal operating temps.
  11. Looks like you might have enough space to fit the plate on the bumper under the tire and above the hitch. Would keep it safe while on the trail. Might try a farmers supply store to find a spring latch. Or a place where they sell fencing supplies.
  12. Got one on the hardbody. Is fast and easy to remove the glass. Great in case you are stuck in the mud or have a horde of zombies surrounding your truck!
  13. Looks good. My arm leveled out once I put weight on it as well. Is all good. Design looks well laid out. Where ever did you get the idea of how to put it together. lol Can't wait to see it finished up and ready for the trail!
  14. One thing to note is is that I did not order the struts from 4x4parts. Was cheaper in price and shipping to order them locally (since I would have had to pay brokerage/customs fees coming over the border). I only ordered the coils and the bilstein shocks (since I didn't know the part number of the shocks to be able to order them locally). But many people have ordered the struts from them without problems. So yeah, they might have sent you the wrong ones. Either that, or the ones on your truck were replaced at one point with the wrong struts and someone made them work. And the new KYB's that 4x4parts sent you are the correct ones.
  15. This is what I found in the rear end when doing my lift. Found my rear end sat really low too, but couldn't see anything when I rolled under-neath and looked. Wasn't until we went to take off the coil and "clunk", the broken part fell out and we both looked at each other dumb-founded. From the rust on the ends, you can tell it had been broken for a while.
  16. Same here. I did mine a couple months ago and they were exactly the same. No difference at all for brackets/fittings. Edit: Here are some pics. Don't have a close up one of the new one on the truck, but as you can see, they are the same. Old strut: New strut:
  17. Yeah he was sad to see it go but things have changed in his life so he put it up for sale. You bought a pretty damn nice truck. I have been wheeling behind or in front of that truck many times. Only problem you will find is that you will want to spend all your time on the trail instead of working! Glad to see that you joined the group. Hope to see you on the trail some time. More than a few Ottawa guys here.
  18. Looks clean, but damn do I ever hate white cars/trucks. White isn't even considered a color.
  19. Check the frame using a screwdriver to be exact. Can look nice until you end up poking right through it. Looks good. I would buy it for that price.
  20. Unless you live in a non-road salt area, you will likely have rust back there. Fender flares should just be called "water/mud holders" instead.
  21. Think he meant to say "windshield fluid". Mine is dead too but haven't gotten around to finding the problem.
  22. About time. They have been screwing with the interface in the last week or two. Lets hope it is for the better
