  2. its a few guys on here, i'll see if i can dig them up. i havent been on the forum in 2 months so im really behind
  3. wow wasted no time starting the new nominations this time
  4. yes this has been done. the xterra rack has also been done. as well as the pathfinder rack from the r51
  5. they wanted 15k for a system??
  6. something else you can do, which i did, is use toggle switches. one to a ground, then to the video cut off wire. so if you get pulled over or have a cop behind or beside you, flip the switch and it becomes legal again. same for the sub output. it just needs that feed, and if you connect it to a toggle, you can turn the amp on and off at will, which is what i do when i get into any area where i will be stopping, so people dont hear me coming and steal meh shyt while im doing what ever im doin.
  7. well our other honda took a hike, the pathy is all but retired, and this is where ive been the last 2 months.
  8. yeah i was gonna say just match the thread pitch and get new ones for cheaper
  9. thank you rachel!! we had a freakin blast last night, and we got our nets back today!!
  10. thats too much BS if im reading right. i have a 4" bs on mine. but about the size of the rims, do you offroad at all? if you have bigger rims, you will have less sidewall to flex while offroad, and more metal to chip away at. i hate buying brand new rims to take off road, and i dont want to ding them all up after putting a couple hundred bucks into them. a smaller rim gives your tire more flex at less psi (air down for offroad). thats why alot of serious offroad rigs have something between 14-16" with beadlocks, to get as much rubber down as possible.
  11. still drivable, jsut take the belt off lol
  12. do you have emissions there? i know if i were to do that swap here, my rig would become a trailer queen since its all odbII readings. i dont know how i would go about getting it relicensed every year have you looked into the vh45 swap? there's one in progress in the hardcore swap section, though not much progress has been made on it in a while
  13. i have an ipod touch 3rd gen, and a blackberry curve. personally the ipod design is just a toy. i have had blackberry curve's for the last 4 years, just got one with the new optical track on it (the ball finally got retired) and i love it. and i have a blackberry storm as backup in case anything were to happen to it. my new curve has been through literal hell, dropped, kicked, i think i even ran it over once. still kickin like new. and my storm is an unlocked verizon blackberry (btw, verizon is giving the unlock codes to them for free, idk why..) and it is an all steel body. never knew that. but like some others were sayin, its all a matter of personal preference. my brother uses a storm, and my other brother has the samsung galaxy s (which the HD screen on that thing is SICK!) but the difference between blackberry, the droid series, and the iphones is pretty massive, even though droid ui is based on apple tech. play with them, find a main branch with fully activated demo phones, and use them as you would be using it yourself, then deicde which from there. a side note, most droids (not android, as they are ususally smaller phones), have a pretty small battery life, ranging less than 24 hours, depending on usage.
  14. i hope you painted or protected around that metal you just cut to prevent rusting! cant wait to see these workin!
  15. you dont not using anything oem. if you want drl's, your going to have to install your own relay's, tap into an ignition only powered source, and run all your own wires. if you would have searched, you would have learned time and time again (in the last 48 hours it has been discussed) that the drl's are high beam at half power. so, good luck... going through canada with us plates, you dont need drl's. but if your picky, turn your headlights on.
  16. there is a difference between the 90-95 hubs and the 96-04 hubs. they will fit yours. and with your sayin of how you will use them, for the money, i'd go with the mile markers since you dont do any hard offroading. i beat the crap out of my mile markers on our annual meet up here, and seem to be the only one to do so without busting them. so regular every day use, you'd be just fine. i bought mine from 4x4parts.com, nothing but nissan parts! https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/drive-train-manual-locking-hubs-c-165_312.html heres the ones i bought https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/mile-marker-manual-locking-hubs-p-243.html
  17. yep manual hubs are a go for you, as long as you dont have the auto option. even if you did have the auto system, you'd have 2 options. leave the front hubs locked when in auto, or keep it in 2wd and unlock the hubs as a side note, there are 2 sets of hubs available for us. mile markers and warns. mile markers are 100, warns 200. so its a matter of if you have the money do what you want. i bought the mile markers because my wallet is pinched really tight. and i havent had a single problem with them.
  18. nope! get your windex, wash a mirror or something
  19. some times there are a few systems tied into each other via different fuses. check em all, just to be safe.
  20. auto tranny coolers in the radiator are stock to any vehicle for the past 25+ years....
  21. filled the tank, thinkin the drivers front wheel bearings are finished (feels like tire rubbing at low speed up to 15 or so, then goes away, i have no tire rubbing...) rolled over 183000mi yesterday..
  22. the wheels are sposed to be yellow!
  23. thats quite the story. impressed that you are still here none the less!
  24. hitting both may or may not do anything, as both can possibly stick. i personally have had no luck with the hit and make it work theory. crawl underneath, and you'll find this attached to the bellhousing where the engine and transmission meet. the gold piece is the selenoid.
