yeah the electric fan from the quest works. i havent had a shroud in well over a year on my r50. the clips holding the bttom half broke off, so i just took the whole thing off and called it good. no problems have arised from it, though i did accidentally drop a tool down into the fan last summer and sent it flying through my radiator, but that was pure stupidity.

Air shocks (Saturday afternoon project)
skulptr replied to bigmatt's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
you can use the stock jeep springs to sit close to stock height, as they have a higher spring rate. the sub drop thing is for jeep LIFT springs. -
wish i had enough money to take a truck like this, and turn it into.... that.

nice setup. simpler version of what most car makers put out from the factory. also, since your like me, into cheap upgrades, have you looked into the jeep spring conversion? -

might be less hassle just to tape it off. newspaper, dollar store painters tape, and a dollar store razor blade, 10 minutes of time, and youre all masked off lol
-
yeah thats just held on by double sided tape, more or less. best bet is a wide blade to get it off, for best chances of not breaking it. if there is any stick left behind, will come off easily with goo gone or goof off, depending on how high you want to get while doing it. btw, why remove it? besides the obvious. i would hate to have that come off when the airbag deploys, and have nissan permanentaly imprinted on my face

you dont need the antenna. its am band only. the fm antenna is on the windshield.

and if for some reason that wire isnt there (someone clipped it too short or something stupid) you can tap into the red wire. all it is is a positive feed from the ignition telling the stereo to turn on, so you would have the amp turn on anytime the unit is on with the igniton. thats all the blue control wire does.
-
yeah um my flowmaster exhaust cost me about 160 bucks, including my muffler, borla can shove it.
