  1. Hi, Just ordered a set of Michelin Latitude Tour 275/70/16 tires, and now I am searching for 8 x 16 inch wheels to fit. My assumptions: 16 inch diameter wheel, 8 inches wide 6 lug, 4.5 inch (114.3 mm) bolt pattern. This appears to be the biggest search constraint. Center bore: 66.1 ? 12 mm x 1.25 lug Offset: + 15 to 35 mm OEM offset: + 30 mm Backspace: couldn't find it, but it is about 5 inches. Shape of lug nuts: unknown One of the very few wheels that I've found is the MB Wheels Gunner 6 for $106. The only specifications listed are 16x8, bolt pattern of 6-114.3 with offset of plus 25. Functionality is the most important consideration. I'm figuring that decreasing the offset and the backspace (i.e. moving the wheel toward the outside) is safer as far as possible rubbing. I assume, but don't know, that all the trim levels of the Pathfinder, Xterra, and Frontier will take the same wheels/tires. In other words, you can take the stock wheel/tire combination from any of the 2005 to 2011 models and swap them without any problems. Nissan sales brochures list the following sizes: 245/75/16, 265/65/17, 265/60/18, 265/70/16, and 265/75/16. Am I correct? Any corrections would be appreciated. Chuck Sten, San Diego, Calif. 2. ========== Yes, the third-row 50/50 split bench seat folds flat and even to the floor. One of the beauties of the new Pathfinder is that the second and third row seats fold nice and flat to the floor, leaving a smooth, unobstructed surface about 6 feet in length, without significant gaps. That's a nice advantage over much of the competition. It's easy enough to leave the third-row seat folded up--does not hurting anything. True, removing the third-row seat will create a depression in the floor. I propose to cover that depression, and thereby gain a new storage compartment for jumper cables and other items that I seldom use. Chuck Sten
  3. I have no use for the third-row seat in a 2011 Pathfinder S. After removing the seats, I could deck over the resulting hole with a piece of carpeted plywood. The cargo space that is created would be handy for storing tools, spare parts, tow straps, snow chains, first aid kit, etc. Chuck Sten San Diego, Calif.
  4. Hi, Since I will never use the roof rack, I would like to remove it. Granted, the advantages are very small, but they will add up over the next ten years. Noise reduction, less wind resistance for better gas mileage, easier to wash, cleaner look, and less to rust. Remember that I'm saying that pluses are tiny, but cumulative. Is it difficult to patch up the resulting holes in the roof? Chuck Sten
