  1. The UCA ones are M14.1.5x50, or 60mm if you need to add more shims lol. Also in case anyone doesn't know. Grade 8.8 in metric is equivalent to standard GRADE 5. You need grade 10.9 in metric to be the same as standard grade 8. I've seen so many people attaching @!*% with 8.8 bolts and I'm thinking, I'm never riding in this vehicle ever.
  2. Power wash under there first. Makes it a lot cleaner.
  3. Could go the JY route... That's probably what I'd do to be honest.
  4. Sounds like you should find a new body shop. Most around here will do all work and love to sell you rustproofing (oil spray is best).
  5. It takes quite a few turns for it to line up again. If you are confident the belt is on properly, move on to the ignition timing. It would run a tooth off, not well, but it would run. Was the distributor removed (you shouldn't ever need to unless replacing it)? Bring the engine back to TDC and reset the distributor as well so its pointing at plug wire #1.
  6. There is only one o2 sensor on the 1995 pathfinder. It is upstream of the cat. There is no downstream sensor. The camshaft sensor is in the distributor. Last I checked it isn't available separately.
  7. I would start with pulling the distributor cap and checking for any brown/red/gold dust under there. If there is, the bearing is failing and causing the camshaft sensor to read wrong. If not it could still be a bad distributor, but check the coolant temp sensor as well. Definitely sounds electrical for sure.
  8. I used to as well. When I started out with this company I had to do all the onsite service. Now we have new lower level people to do that, hehe. The amount I got paid in mileage was still more than the pathy used in gas...
  9. Yeah I think the wire colours are the same for both models. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. http://s534.photobucket.com/user/Jackal_TEF/library/SUPERCHARGED%20XTERRA%20RESISTOR%20MOD?sort=3&page=1
  11. I believe it's 560k ohms. I just soldered like 5 together to add up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If you're supercharged you should have it. If not just do the resistor mod. It will hurt the mileage even if it isn't a SC model. I've done it on a couple xterras. Made a huge difference in power on my 02 SC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The timing should be 10 or 15 degrees at idle, yours is showing 12. While probably not causing an issue, may want to sort it out. I forget which year it went from 15 to 10.
  14. The injectors should all be around 12-14 ohms if i remember right. Anything outside of that, is junk.
  15. Don't over-tighten it. The torque spec is only like 43 ft-lbs You need to read the book called; "The Subtle Art of not giving a fskc". My parents have a 2nd gen xterra. It's okay...Yeah it's got good power, but it is just as bad, if not worse on gas than my 1st gen.
  16. If you can, find a supercharged one. The non supercharged are just as slow as the pathfinder and worse on gas...My SC xterra gets 20mpg and it has 60 more HP than my wd21.
  17. What needs to be rebuilt? Ball joints should be fairly simple for any competent garage...Why does the engine and trans need a rebuild? Auto or Manual? Does it use oil or show other signs of failing? Mine has 270,000 on it and it still runs great.
  18. I could use a few odds and ends...When are you getting rid of it? Perhaps a trip up to Montreal is in order...
  19. Yeah...I have never done that on the pathfinder at least. And my engine is going on half a million km..
  20. If you're really getting rid of it...Sell me that power antenna fender! I need one...
  21. I've got a half decent 95 for sale. A little rust here and there but the frame is good as it is from Victoria BC...I was going to keep it but I kind of need the money. It's a 5 speed and has a new JDM engine that another member and I installed...The one I drove out west and to Halifax last year!
  22. Yeah if you're not wheeling it all the time or it is a daily driver, no point in MT tires. I am picking up some KM2s tomorrow to replace the duratracs I hate.
  23. Yeah my dad has a 2011 and they just paid like 2 grand to get that done. Their's has about 180,000km on it. Bring it on down here and I'll fix it for you.
  24. Good choice. If it isn't a DD, an MT is the best choice.
