  1. How long did you pull a vacuum for? I did mine for over an hour on my 1995. I didn't replace the drier but did change the condenser. It blows about 40F while holding the engine at 1500rpm.
  2. I talk to him all the time on FB. Missed seeing him again when I was out that way last summer.
  3. a/s/l was around then...but that was about it
  4. Ahh the good old days of msn messenger and yahoo chat rooms. When the internet was simple haha.
  5. Try unplugging the o2 sensor and see if it runs better. That sounds like what happened when mine went. If it has never been changed, well it is 24 years old. Also you can do the same with the coolant temp sensor. It will run in a default fuel trim (way rich) but it should run smooth. It is not as common for the distributor to fail on the VG30E, that's a VG33E issue. But I guess anything can happen. Mine has the original 275k mile one on it and still works perfect.
  6. I got it on rock auto. Just a stock replacement mid pipe. The headers are designed to bolt to the factory exhaust so its an easy fit.
  7. Just buy a new mid pipe and a walker direct fit cat. They arent expensive and then it all bolts together. Thats what I did on my 1994. Dont go no cats. Thats just irresponsible. And it makes no power difference that I can tell you for sure. Just because theres no smog testing doesnt mean its legal to remove emissions equipment. Some people on here are paranoid and seem to think its some government conspiracy.
  8. That's the kind of crappy advice I'd expect from the facebook page. Just pawn your garbage off on someone else.
  9. I just checked my master cylinder on both my pathfinders on the weekend. Both appear to the be the factory units. I hope I never have to change them because if this @!*% show happens to me I might burn it in the driveway.
  10. What I did was remove the brass screws and spray contact cleaner. Then use q tips to clean up the contacts. You could use fine sandpaper too. Mine has been working since I did this like 5 years ago.
  11. So if you went out now and put vice grips on the rear flex hose (the one from frame to the T on the axle), you're saying it still has a soft pedal? Try at each end of the hose to see if there's an issue you can't visually see? I'm running out of ideas. Couldn't hurt to grab a JY master that is OEM and try that. Not sure how you could have gotten 4 bad ones, but I got 3 bad after market coolant temp senders so anything is possible.
  12. Mine will do that depending on the oil filter I use. I found the Napa gold (wix) filters made it do that.
  13. Well after having read several articles talking about the state of your public education system, you're probably right.
  14. I'm not sure how the brake booster could make only the rear brakes not work.
  15. As long as the cat/egr are working, these trucks breeze through emissions tests. At least both of mine do.
  16. Any of the "syncromesh" ones will be fine. Personally i use GM Syncromesh as any chev dealer will have it and it works well in old and worn out transmissions.
  17. You can just unbolt that bracket on the engine. That's what I did.
  18. The abs light on my 95 would randomly come on and off, without any real rhyme or reason. Then after replacing a leaking brake line I bled all the brakes. The light never came back on.
  19. My first set rotted out within 3 years. But I dont drive my wd21 in the winter anymore so it isnt an issue.
  20. It lines up fine. Thats only if youre going from auto to manual. Youll need the sub harness from the pathfinder though.
  21. That's exactly all on point. I found getting everything put together, but loosely, and then tightening all the bolts helped. Otherwise I would not be able to slide the y pipe on the headers. Also ditch the @!*% u clamps they give you and use either an band clamp or weld the y pipe on. Mine always leaked.
  22. I don't see how someone could have relocated yours without tearing out the carpets and cutting the taped loom open. Perhaps on the 1992 model it was never under the seat.
  23. It should just slide off. Where the two bolts are, there is a kind of pin that sits in a hole if i remember right. It may just be stuck. Try walking it out with a couple of screwdrivers if you can.
  24. Why? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm42_Vg-3UCexfapNtVwCRg?view_as=subscriber
