  1. For the throttle lag check: -MAF - 02 sensor -throttle position sensor -air filter - fuel filter -clogged catalytic stuff like that
  2. Well, if there is any of it left, it will come of fairly easily, mine did. If not just use a scraper or some needle nose pliers.
  3. That is a royal PITA. I changed the gasket on mine but it didn't helpt as the flanges were fubared. If it's been leaking for a while it might be too late, as moister will collect there and will rust the flanges and they get warped somehow.
  4. Yeah I was gonna say, might wanna reinforce and paint that, unless it's just surface rust. But that is sexay. If I ever sas my truck, I'll hire you to do it.
  5. I hit 253,000km this week. She's getting up there
  6. Yeah I took your advice the first time and wiggled all the connectors when it happened the second time, and it did nothing, I would assume because wire was was broken and wiggling it didn't put it back in its place. The only cel code I get once and a while is injector leak, but I have no injector leak. (It was checked)
  7. Okay, it happened again tonight, really bad. I could REALLY smell the raw fuel. I decided to check the maf again, and low and behold I pushed it in more, and it idled up fine again. Upon closer inspection with my cell as a flashlight, I discovered one of the wires is BROKEN down there. I guess off to the JY sometime to get another one. I just shoved it down in there for now. Although it idled back up fine, I still think there is a problem with the alternator and the ignition, as the truck didn't "feel" the same as usual (stumbled a little when driving). Also there is a whining under the hood, and its starting to come over the speakers as well....... And BTW, during this entire time, I NEVER got a CEL or code
  8. Mine has only sagged on the passenger side and my 93 is perfectly level after all this time. 95 was sagging probably because of the way I found it when I bought it...
  9. Yeah, the environment is not really on my list of concerns when it comes to keeping the pathy in good shape. Do those flares come with mud flaps?
  10. Give the dog chocolate. It's apparently bad for them.
  11. Not yet. I was gonna wait for that box 'o' parts from naturatek but I may have to go and buy one. This is interesting, as what I believe to be the alternator, has started to whine under the hood, and over the speakers, it's getting louder as the weeks go by, actually. I will check the voltage with my multimeter. I guess that's my fault for running without the splash guard for a month in the winter.
  12. Alright, well it happened again last night, and today. Last night I had got home late from thanksgiving, and it stalled as I pulled into my neighborhood (it's a sharp slow turn). Today it was stumbling as soon as I started it to go to my other thanksgiving dinner. It wouldn't stall, just stumble. Also when you went to give it gas to go, it was like a weed eater that wasn't warmed up, you know, where it almost stalls then comes back up. I checked the ecu, no codes, no CEL either. I'm going to try Terrano1992's idea tomorrow after school. Weird as when I'm driving at speed, it runs fine...
  13. Mine started stumbling again today. My cap is cracked right where one of the screws is. Someone was a moron
  14. I helped my dad do his (we had to leave that day) and I didn't find it hard at all. You guys just have large hands
  15. Dude I think red only ever looked good on the wd21s. The beige is a lot more classy, but whatever.
  16. Take the tire off and go from the side, but remove the splash guard rubber things first.
  17. That noise is probably your steering stops in the front.
  18. ATF is transmission grade lol, well for autos. If you have a 5 speed, its gear oil, not motor oil. I think the standard gear oil is 75w90???
  19. No, I don't' know about the r50's but on the first gen paths the recommended weight is 5w30. I run 5w50 in the summer as it is an older engine with hardly any wear and I want to keep it that way. As long as you're not running a really thick oil in the dead of winter, you should be ok. My dad ran 20w50 in the 93 all winter, but it was garage kept.
  20. Yep that is a common problem.
  21. Can you not read? This isn't meant as an insult, but please read the post before flaming someone. Good job mike.
  22. Probably because half the idiots today wouldn't know what they mean...
  23. Nice job mike. Oh ya, my engine bay is cleaner than yours
  24. I fit 4 kegs in the back for a friend, without the seats down, so I assume I could probably put 6 or 8 in with the seats down. That'd be a lot of weight though! Proof: (note the seats WERE down but I didn't need the extra room, I just thought I did)
  25. Simon you and Nismojunky can race, I believe he has a 3+3 and 33's as well on his 89....
