  1. I think you'll have to either remove the second ones battery or move it further away, as my fathers fob will work for quite a distance away!
  2. Hmm I got the other set of hinge pins from lgranch, and was going to do this, but I guess I'll have it done lol
  3. To be honest I don't think you have to go to the dealer. Autozone or partsource should have them. On a side note, are you the same prginocx who commented on that womans horrible pathfinder review on Epinion? Man that woman was DUMB Oops grimgreg got here before me
  4. I think the auto is 4.6 and the 5 speed is 4.3, I could be wrong though.
  5. Maybe its cause trailchaser lives right where hurricane ike went through and he's a little busy right now?
  6. I could REALLY use the new wires, cap, and rotor....I'm a college student and my truck needs a tune up badly. But I wouldn't say I do much for the site, other than provide a good laugh for people although its at me.
  7. This is true. I was going up some really steep hills and the pathy was trying to maintain 55mph i had my foot to the floor and it was still loosing speed
  8. Yeah its the hinge pins. I have the same problem. It's common on a lot of older vehicles.
  9. Simon that was a hilarious story! My dad also has the same battery as pezzy (it came with the truck when we bought it) and the date on it is march 05 and it's been fine so far.
  10. Same here, I changed mine at 150k, I have no idea if it was ever done but it looked brand new when I took it off. Most people just put the key in and drive these days. I got one mechanic who told me it was a chain
  11. Damn I wanna buy one of those, oh wait, I already did
  12. Yeah you never get to use your OD unless you've got a tail wind downhill eh?
  13. Thats a nice looking truck too. I'd be livid if that happened to me.
  14. This tire says Michelin on the side but is clearly a bridge stone dueler at revo tread
  15. Yep. I got my truck safe and reliable before I started toying with the rust
  16. You can pick up a grease gun for very little $$ at a lot of places....Also you don't NEED an air ratchet to remove the tires, its just easier. I use a breaker bar and socket all the time. A torque wrench is good to have but you don't need it. I drove around for a month with my spare on, tightened only by the stock lug thing under the back seat. Also, I don't know if it was mentioned here, but have someone turn the wheel while your under the front end on the ground, and look to see if there is any abnormal play. I've been told they're allowed to have a little twist in them, but if it looks like its popping up and down that is a
  17. Why not? Mine is running through the stock amps and it sounds great! There is an adapter you buy so its all plug 'n' play. At least it is for mine....
  18. Don't even bother unless they drop it to 3k and provide a warranty!
  19. If its stock and the head unit lights up, check the fuses for AUDIO AMP in the fuse panel. They're separate from the RADIO fuse IIRC.
  20. So it does it just when rolling? Or is it when going slow over bumps? You also, while you have the front tires off, should take a grease gun and shoot some grease into anything that has a grease nipple, my ball joints and outer tie rods had them. My grandfather showed me the other day. Much quieter up front now.
  21. The alternator is easy, its the starter thats a pain!
  22. B the 3.5 requires premium fuel
