  1. The GM rims have a smaller hub you gotta have the center bored out.
  2. Check out five star industrial painting on Cleopatra off of merivale road. That is where I took my dads.
  3. Damn that is bad. But I have seen (and owned) worse. I should throw up some pics of the rot magregor and I just discovered on my pathy. You might have to take the gas tank out for that one too if it needs the inside patched... I know I'm going to have to.
  4. How old is your 02 sensor? On these trucks the classic sign is that it starts to act up when the truck warms up. Mine did something similar a little while ago.
  5. I took my dads r50 to a guy in ottawa and he quoted 900 to replace and paint both front fenders, and do the rear wheel arches..
  6. I am soooo glad mine didn't come with flares. Although my dads didn't either and his fenders and rear wheel arches are starting too. Good thing he is mr money bags and can afford to have the whole truck done at a bodyshop.
  7. I know its not locking because my friend was watching the CV's and the drivers one would just spin. The passenger side locks and since it's an open diff it spins unlocked side.
  8. If it is cold where you are, it could just be that the tranny has to warm up before going into full overdrive. I know mine does the same thing. After a few minutes on the highway it locks the torque converter.
  9. X2 And before everyone tells you to slow down or get winter tires; how long have you had your pathy? I know it took me a bit to get used to rwd in the winter. After a while you will be able to tell if the rear end is gonna try and do that to you.
  10. These lights aren't relayed from the factory. I would check under the hood and look for any hacked or rigged wiring from the previous owner. I found some when my DS headlight would keep going off.
  11. The oil filter is not the same as the 95, Sal. you have to remove the skidplate underneath to get to it as well. It is a smaller filter. Also the timing belt has the same interval as your 95. 105k miles. Do it before it breaks. Also check the rear link bushings.
  12. My dads r50 didn't seem to have that sensitive of an abs system but then again I try to gear down when driving it (5 speed)
  13. What I ended up doing is having magregor make templates off of his pathy that already had a carrier
  14. That would be nice as it would match.
  15. I did it on my truck and believe me the kit you get from 4x4parts sucks. It didn't come with the template or the instructions and when I emailed them they said it wasn't available anymore. Only then did they put on the site that they aren't available. Jerks. You are better off hacking the mounts out of a junkyard pathy and cutting them to fit yours. We ended up having to modify the brackets that came in the kit anyway because there were no instructions on how to get them in there. good luck.
  16. I would be interested in a set of these "widebody" flares...
  17. Pull the battery cable, turn on the headlights, wait a few minutes, turn off headlights, reconnect battery. I read that somewhere on here. Couldn't hurt to try. Unless the shop reset the codes the CEL would still be there. So maybe they did fix it but couldn't figure out how to reset it. Hope this helps.
  18. Mine doesn't twist at all when turning it like that. Couldn't hurt to bring the cl back anyways...
  19. The oil cooler leak is apparently a cheap fix with a couple of o-rings. The thread is in the r50 section. Also check the power valve screws.
  20. Get a keyless entry system and then you won't have to worry about wearing them out! Out of the 3 pathfinders I have only one has ever had this issue and it was my 93, and it has just over 200k miles and broke in the last few months of DD'ing it. Oh well, just means that the girls think you're a gentleman when you open the door from their side
