I have the same unit. You don't need that adapter. Its just the harness that hooks the cd part up. All you need to do is get a harness adapter for 94 nissan from the parts store and your aftermarket radio will plug right in. You may also need the antenna adapter if you have the two prong antenna connection.

You don't need to pull the timing covers to do the thermostat. Just the ac idler bracket.

If you need a timing light I bought one for around 10 dollars at princess auto. If you have one nearby.

If you want super comfy get monroe sensa tracs.

Make sure it is grade 10.9 and not 8.8. Metric 8.8 is equivalent to standard grade 5.

you can see a ton of rust holes in the side of the frame. probably why they used it for that in the first place.

My dads 00 had one...I thought it was cool but I don't miss it at all in my wd21.

My buddy still has my old rad I gave him to scrap. I will go and see if I can take it apart! It is an aftermarket, metal tank type though.

I'm interested in doing this as well. Let us know what you end up going with and how you hook it up. Apparently the 1st gen xterra has one too so that could be an option.

Mine dings when you have the key in or lights on with the door open. But it beeps on start up with the seat belt light...

For the price rock auto sells a new rad support for I would not waste my time pulling a used one. But that's me. They're like 50 buck's

Check your vacuum lines, coolant temp sensor and the oxygen sensor. The fsm has the specs in the ef or ec section I believe.

There is supposed to be separate parts. Its so if you lose one side or the front or back line (i don't remember) you still have something to stop with.

Turn the fan to off it shuts it off.

Timing belt if its never been done

While it is quite expensive, the oem part will last another 20 years while the aftermarket one will probably only last you 5 at the most before the boots tear. I went with lifetime warranty rebuilt ones, as the new aftermarkets didn't seem to fit right.

As long as your AC compressor is not cycling on and off (keep it off the defrost and defrost/foot mode) it will not affect MPG.

Did you make sure that you put the calipers on the right side? There is an L and R stamped on them. The bleeders should be at the top of the caliper. I made this mistake when I first started working on my truck, took me hours to figure out why it would bleed solid fluid but had no pedal lol. If you have them on right it is likely that you got air into the master. You could just keep bleeding it on the truck but that takes forever.

Hope you don't have to pass emissions test anytime soon that kills you catalytic converter.

Since you had the bars out while doing the tranny swap, are you sure you put them back in the exact same way. Previous owner of mine had one side off a spline and it sat kinda crooked till I fixed it
