  1. The link I posted goes straight to the headers that you need.
  2. I've found them on ebay for as little as $40, but if you have to buy one new it should be around $100.
  3. I think that Thorley is your only option. Thorley Headers - 4x4parts.com They will give you more power and IMO, better sound. The VG30 sounds really nice with headers and a decent muffler. If you have broken exhaust studs you may also have a warped manifold. That is what leads most Pathfinder owners to install headers. I actually have a set for my current Pathy. I am going to install them when I fix my broken exhaust studs.
  4. I have to hide NPORA from my girlfriend so she doesn't get mad about me looking at Nissan porn.
  5. I have had a Delta 50 on a VG30 Pathy. I liked it so much I bought another for my current build. It was a very good balance between sound and comfort. I have a Super 44 on my D21 pickup and it can get a little annoying on the highway. Luckily it doesn't see the highway much. I would recommend that you spend the extra $ on the Delta 50 if you're worried about the exhaust being loud. If you really want to save money, there are a couple of 40 series copies (v-force, flowpro, thrush) out there for less than $70. I haven't found a Delta 50 copy since the design is still patented. The only problem that I had with the 50 is that I couldn't keep my foot off of the skinny pedal.
  6. If Morningwould's avatar is questionable then I would have to say that Pezzy's is as well. Maybe all avatars should be voted on by the board before they are approved for use. I'm sure some short people would be offended by my avatar.
  7. I guess that depends on how far it is to the nearest puddle.
  8. Discount Tire sells the exact same wheels under their Unique brand. They list for $59, but they will match prices in most cases. Summit definately has the best deal on the black steelies. I like these too: Black Rock 909
  9. Cranked or aftermarket T-bars, rear lift springs, longer rear shocks and ditch the rear sway bar. UCAs if you can't get the front aligned.
  10. I built the cups from bearing races and big a$$ washers. The bushings are from Energy Suspension. I think I special ordered them through Vatozone.
  11. I thought California was the mecca for users of Where's Beavis?
  12. I just used a 24" x 1/2" breaker. Are you sure you're turning it the right way?
  13. Correction: Lower BALL JOINTS are the devil.
  14. If they arent' worn out, it's not worth it. The hard part is dropping the t-bars and getting the bolts out. To remove the bushing from the frame might be a pain too. If the whole thing won't slide out then you will have to burn out the inner sleeve and take a saw to the outer sleeve. If it's worn out, the inner sleeve should just drop out then you can take a sawzall to the rubber and outer sleeve (from the inside). Once you have cut through the sleeve it will be easy to hammer out with a chisel or punch. That is the method I had to use to replace the leaf spring bushings on my D21.
  15. I had a problem with the lights on my 92. The connector had deteriorated and the pins were loose. I found replacement connector pigtails at Wal-Mart for a couple of bucks. After replacing the connectors I never had a problem again.
  16. Before 1990, the V6 D21s and Pathfinders had 27 spline hubs. 1990 and later had 28 spline hubs. I couldn't say for sure whether the ebay hubs would fit.
  17. Maybe I misunderstood. The black plastic things I'm talking about would be under the center caps of most wheels.
  18. Nope. Those plastic things are for wheels that are balanced as "hub centric". Simply put, that means that the wheel is centered by the hub and not by the lugs. The dynamic balancer is a fluid filled ring that automatically balances the wheel using centrifugal force. The dynamic balancers are good for big off-road tires and they can make that plastic ring obsolete. Most tire shops don't know the difference and they might never balance your wheels correctly.

    Cash for ?

There is no limit. If you run out of money that means the project is a success and you need more free money. When will you all learn to think like a politician? Probably never since it seems you have brains inside your skull.
  20. I was at the Nissan parts counter the other day and picked up two sets. The guy there didn't even need the part number. He knew exactly what I was talking about. It's one of the few things that fails on every older Nissan. I think there needs to be a how-to section to pin this stuff in.

    Cash for ?

Posted by Nunya: Cash for Tacos it is then. Damnit! Now I'm hungry.
  22. I just used a bunch of that grease yesterday on the seal for my swimming pool pump. It's the same stuff as most marine lube applications. The tube I have is called Magic Lube. It's way cheaper than buying the Energy Suspension stuff. I use it on all of my suspension bushings and it really keeps the urethane quiet. Totally nasty to clean up though.

    Cash for ?

That's pretty funny. I definitely wasn't expecting that. They might want to make you buy a new sister though.
