  1. I have one for a DD. They never break down when properly maintained. Parts are fairly cheap when you need to replace something. You can get up to 24 MPG. Many parts are interchangeable with the WD21 Pathfinder.
  2. My bushings and frame were completely trashed when I bought the truck. This is an AZ vehicle too! Somehow, the rods weren't badly damaged. I used bearing races and big washers to build new cups then welded them to the frame. The "good" hole: The new and old parts: The new cups that I made: Prepped for welding: Finished product:
  3. If the problem just started out of the blue I vote for mud in the wheel.
  4. Grand Funk Railroad - We're An American Band
  5. Bic lighter, coins, a couple of singles, insurance card and gas receipts with mileage. On road MPG is a great indicator of vehicle health.
  6. N4W? Been there for a while, good AZ Nissan board. They got mad that I bitched about Calmini service though. Here are some pics.
  7. Thanks for the welcome all. It took me a while to figure out exactly what I was after so I went through a couple of projects both 2wd and 4wd. I currently split DD duty between a 1997 D21 and the 1995 Pathy. I also have a 1987 D21 4x4 camping machine. The Nissan trucks have treated me well.
  8. SE for me. LSD and rear disc with the sport package. I could care less about the power goodies and I hate the lego wheels. I do like the SE seats much better though. The lumbar support is nice.
  9. I recently picked up a set of 31x10.50-15 BFG A/Ts in similar shape for $100. I gave $200 for my last set of used 32x11.50-15 BFG A/Ts on black steel wheels. They had much better tread though. I hope that helps a little. Tom
  10. The Rancho P/N for the front is RS5214 (5000), RS99214 (9000X) or RS999214 (9000XL) Here is a list of the Rancho 5000 part numbers with the correct mounting for the rear shocks.

  12. Year: 1995 Lift: 3" BL / 3" SL Wheels: 15x8 Tires: BFG AT KO 33x12.50 / 15 Notes: Trimmed front fender at the corner near the bumper. Rear tires rub frame slightly at full flex.
  13. Hello All, I'm new to NPORA, but definitely not new to Nissans. I've owned six D21s and five WD21s and I have probably dealt with every problem possible. I hope that I can contribute some useful information to this board as I have certainly picked up enough as a lurker. See you on the trails, Tom Phoenix, AZ
  14. 2x on the Weathertec. Excellent fitted liner with a nice raised lip for spills.
