87 twin turbo sas 1 inch lift...
unccpathfinder replied to AK9849cy's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
Yea....I gotta get u to make me a set with unccpathfinder...but id need to figure out the dimensions for a flat rate shipping box....if I get lucky ill get on a trial between now and 2013...just closed on a house so this is progress slowing and then eventually picking back up...and since I work for bad boy buggies now ill prob end up building a mini buggy at home if i can get a decent price on a used one -
I used to.commute 777 miles per week (5 days) I reduced that to 50 a day and now I'm to 40 a day with the new house...takes about 25 mins each way so that's not bad

Thinking about 3'' body lift
unccpathfinder replied to DantheMayun's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Call steevo at rugged rocks off road...I did a study for him...he has the info to make the 87 kit work by either hacking your rear floor or buying 2 new bolts...I have both ends pushing him to offer a secondary kit to make it work...he's got good prices and u get a discount for being a npora member tell him I sent u his way and maybe hell hit u up with a rror decal as well And proof of a 95 with the lift -
Thinking about 3'' body lift

Most of the mounts at the frame could be straightened with a BFH...body being tweaked is a lil different...and body lifts can be challenging....I've done 2 almost flawlessly but they have both been custom -

This was with an IAC brace...thanks be to moab

A TC and rear shaft can be pulled at a u pull it lot for less than $300...the trans xmeber would have to change too I think you could SAS a 2wd for under $2500 with a custom front drive shaft and coil overs depending on how mechanically inclined they are...and Its less work...take $6k and put an atlas, solid axle and 4 link rear ...its just all a matter of what it'd be used for...ask steevo how much $ he wasted by converting to OEM 4x4 prior to building his truck today

Any compatible parts between WD21 and WD22 IFS?
unccpathfinder replied to Nefarious's topic in The Garage
Just last night I was debating measuring up an R50 to see if I could weld the right connections on my frame and add some shock hoops and do a SFD to run 35s....still i need to just SAS it -
My new job does a lot of battery testing...optima isn't really worth what they want performance wise over time...I use whatever's "cheap" at the time and usually 3 yr batteries get me to 4 or 5

Hook it up and see what the high side pressure is...It cuts off somewhere over 400 psi as a safety
-
Did u pull a vacuum on the system first?...I'm guessing so but there is a high pressure and low pressure switch that will keep the compressor from burning up...my gf's 95 got a leak and I had to replace the drier before it would work right

spare tire carrier...?
unccpathfinder replied to stalker's topic in Solid Axle Swaps, Hardcore Custom Fab
I hacked up an OEM... My form pick shows the high lift mounted but I still need to get my jerry can(s) mounted...also if you can't do gas assist lifts on fold down carriers be aware of how much effort it takes to folks the tire up and down and how its in the way if u need to get into the back...I was looking at this and decided to do the swing out -
Yes and no...it def allows the geomerltry to shift...id be suspect of lca bushings more...I had bad tension rod bushings and really only noticed off road
-
Yea that was on Daniel

Eisenhower pass with a trailer and wheeling in moab after they crack and them not want to help replace.them BC they aren't currently tooled....and try to phish shady unethical business out of you that could jeopardize your job....nope...unless they do me right as an individual then no more thorleys for me...ill fix their chrome @!*% and keep wheeling but no new product at $500 a pop when lifetime is 5 years

-
The Oh side was turned strait down the week before hand...if u look closely you can see the tweak...def just scraped it as soon as it came off BC it was crimped.in 3 places
-

Alignment will help but its ifs and as u corner they will be like / / this or \ \ that but the toe is what gets messed up when you crank...along with camber so it should help a lot with the issue...also if your locked they will chirp...also how bald are the tires
