  1. I hacked up an OEM... My form pick shows the high lift mounted but I still need to get my jerry can(s) mounted...also if you can't do gas assist lifts on fold down carriers be aware of how much effort it takes to folks the tire up and down and how its in the way if u need to get into the back...I was looking at this and decided to do the swing out
  2. Yes and no...it def allows the geomerltry to shift...id be suspect of lca bushings more...I had bad tension rod bushings and really only noticed off road
  3. Eisenhower pass with a trailer and wheeling in moab after they crack and them not want to help replace.them BC they aren't currently tooled....and try to phish shady unethical business out of you that could jeopardize your job....nope...unless they do me right as an individual then no more thorleys for me...ill fix their chrome @!*% and keep wheeling but no new product at $500 a pop when lifetime is 5 years
  4. Clean after a lil love And the love...lol...I beat the @!*% out of that bumper
  5. The Oh side was turned strait down the week before hand...if u look closely you can see the tweak...def just scraped it as soon as it came off BC it was crimped.in 3 places
  6. I hack and slashed a toyota rear bumper i was going to show the after...go look at my TOTM nomination to see the after since my buddies intrawebs is being special
  7. Get them to replace my cracked set and ill buy another set for my gfs truck but right now I have a fskc doug thorley attitude and will weld my own before buying their stuff
  8. Alignment will help but its ifs and as u corner they will be like / / this or \ \ that but the toe is what gets messed up when you crank...along with camber so it should help a lot with the issue...also if your locked they will chirp...also how bald are the tires
  9. Sweet...I posted that on here some time ago...there is a forum on rcnt for the development of the t finder...I was able to pick this up Some day I will make it a scaler
  10. Mine was solid...but the rock was harder...I have little to no rust on my truck... You could use a crows foot to torque it but most stuff I use the German torque spec...read aloud...gutentite (good n tight)
  11. I bet my pm's r full...email me next time...unccpathfinder at gmail dot com....definitely planning a URE trip sometime this year...my truck is still worse for wear from MOAB but as soon as we get in this house I will be able to work on it...plus me and my jeep buddy (the one with me at the NOAS event) are trying to build a sas'd hardbody or shortened 2 door over the next year...I'm working for bad boy buggies now so.I'm hoping to get one to take out there too...if we don't make it there we want to def go to coal creek and there will be a couple trips to gulches but probably not worth the drive for u
  12. U can use any wd21 MT...issue is the speedometer in at least 94-95 is electric not mechanical...the ecu pulls data off of the speedometer in the electric versions but easily avoided by either using the same tx10 from a 94-95 (maybe even some 93's) with any wd21 tyranny...not as familiar with the X stuff but would assume anything off of a vg33 will mount to a vg30 BC its essentially the same block
  13. I had issues for about 2 months...all stemming from this... Finally found some bearing races to weld on and cleaned up all the surfaces BC I had originally rewelded on the inside of the cup and it causes the bushings to fail...I had also straightened and rewelded the bent part above...about 20 good whacks with a 5lb got.her back in place
  14. Nice write-up...I al sways do mine with wheels on the ground so I don't have to fight it...an fyi the bushing retainer in the last pic is on backwards...it will cut into the bushing and damage it if it's a left that way over time...compare to first pic
  15. Thanks for posting results...makes me feel accomplished sometimes
  16. Its all good...she had to take care of the baby and I was getting too far ahead and instead of changing (those were good clothes before the end of this) she got her side done without getting hurt so I can't complain...I'm the one that leaks all over everything
  17. As posted from the front doors fwd the body's will interchange from 86.5-95 Pathfinders and I think something like 86.5-97 hardbodys...all the green is off of my 95 and all the white is my 86.5
  18. Mine likes to go...she has a 95 pathfinder that we still have to get modded to do anything serious but for now it will allow her to figure out wheeling...we haven't been together in over a year BC of our son but hopefully soon. She learned how to do the timing belt the first week we had her truck and she changed the brakes on her own so its always a plus to.have them wrench on their own stuff...we both have our dream builds too so that's a plus as well
  19. Back nut is like a 22...i use a box wrench and patience...remove it forest then remove the other 2...I found it better to leave it sitting on the ground and don't turn the steering wheel at all BC then that makes it fun to get back together....use 3/8" drive extensions to help align things back up and prob have a good pry bar...the first one i did took 2 hrs...now I can change both sides out in about 15-20 mins...I've got practice now
  20. Cannonball run was my first move to ca from nc....made 2 drives there in less than 3 days
  21. hoses...belts...oil...spare tire...tent...food...water...how big of a trailer are you hauling? my last trip from CA to SC was quite the event with a 24 hr closure of I40 for a sand storm...tornadoes in Arkansas...flooding in nashville...a flat tire in alabama with no spare (luckily between 2 quick stops i was able to plug it and continue on my merry way) so i drove for 400 miles with signs saying I-40 was closed...when we got there I passed 20 miles of tractor trailers parked double file on the side of the highway...where the state troopers turned us around i stopped at the next exit up and me my gf and her 2 kids camped there for the night
