You might also check the Classifieds section and see if anyone is parting out, while there post a new topic in Parts Wanted. -
My Pathfinder is now Keyless, Push Button Start
RedPath88 replied to daczone's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Pretty cool, someone did this (with a slightly different & more expensive kit) on another forum to a car a while back, since then I have been thinking about it. Probably won't and definitely won't for a while, but still cool Have you explored options to add auto locking/unlocking doors when you walk away to up to the truck? -
Not exactly "today" but gave it a new place to park. This\/ That /\ I run the same one in about the same place, but I have my filters pointing down

Problem with Trans-Dapt oil filter relocation kit

iirc I picked mine up at... Napa, one of the more commercial ones... I think -
Drove it, and discovered that the radio and CB are dead. Radio has power from the hot lead, but no switched power. Pretty sure that when I installed both years ago I powered both the radio and CB from the same switched power and also fairly confident that I put a second fuse in, behind them. The main fuse it good, got to get in behind them when I have some time..... time

Come again? Time for a battery maintainer (110v or solar). The 110v unit I installed (and posted in here about) has been working perfectly On a side note, I put my solar one on the yota and so far so good. You might remember that I put it away after the Pathy's battery failed not long after I started using it a year or two ago. Well seems that it was just coincidence and the battery was going to die anyway (even if it was a 6mo old gell cell) My aftermarket alarm does this as well, but it can be turned off. Mine also has a feature to help prevent lockouts, it won't lock the doors if a door is open when the truck is started. So you can start it with the door open, then get out and close the door and not have to worry about it auto-locking. This Tends to happen with age Says the pathfinder fire king

Rear Spring Options For Lifting Your WD21 Pathy
RedPath88 replied to 88pathoffroad's topic in How-To's
Aftermarket arms don't actually create more lift range, they (all but one) just correct the angles of the ball joint once lifted. -
Did you ever apply heat? And how early did you start soaking it with PB Blaster, usually best to start a few days to a week or more ahead of time., then if needed couple it with heat and cool cycles. But, you got it and that is all that matters in the end

Schumacher picked it up on sale. They maintain the charge level of a battery over extended periods of time or through cold weather. They can also recharge low (not dead) batteries. EDIT: A little over $22 when I bought it and many good reviews, figured I'd give it a shot Some reviewers say that it draws power from the battery when not plugged in, if this is the case I will install a quick disconnect, a switch or something, not a big deal.

Installed a battery maintainer.

I just went out and took some shots of mine for comparison To me it looks like your adjuster slid back and took the TB with it. If you look at the rear shot of both my your adjuster and mine you will see that frame crossbar is sitting in the groove at the end of the adjuster, while yours is not. My guess is that you do not have the C-Clip on the front/TB side of the adjuster (See second pic above) Also take note of the difference in the amount of threads visible at the front of the TBs/LCAs.

Same thing here it's been there mounted without screws just like djeffrey mentioned for years without moving. Before this one I used the single cup version with the slid on coin dish. Threw the coin dish away and attached to single cups back to back with double sided tape. the dual singles worked a little better because they were a bit narrower, I just decided that I wanted the dish in the middle so I went to the double unit. My only complaints are, when wheeling and using 4Lo you can't have a cup in the left hand one. And very large softdrink fountain cups cause gear shift issues in the right hand holder, but since "I" don't use that one, it's not really "my" problem

Lets just move this over to the Garage... And I have had ES3000's for years and like them.

Low profile, makes use of the entire roof surface and it looks good! As nunya mentioned it's been done and there is info here on the board, so intense brainstorming may not needed And speaking of that I need to get going on installing the one sitting in my garage!

Well just in case someone reads this later, we do not absolutely know that the ECU's are fully interchangeable. Without knowing that there is always risk that something, like the replacement ECU, could be fried just plugging it in and applying power (connecting the battery.) But we do know that there are units that do work in other years and it is possible that most of them do. But without knowing for sure caution should always be taken when swapping them.

For the most part the ECM's are not a problem with these vehicles, but as you found out it does happen. When I was looking for a replacement for mine I hit up the dealer and the parts manager looked it up and found a wide range of part numbers over the years (besides the obvious separations) and the best he could offer was a that one part (do not remember which now) stayed consistent over many of those part numbers, then it would change and stay that way again for a while... he suggested finding one with that part of the number that matched mine. I did and it worked. But as for knowing for sure if all ECM's form the same engine (I4/V6/Diesel) and injection type (TBI/MPFI) work in place of another, I don't know if anyone can truly answer that.
