You laugh, like it was a joke or something...

Is that your quote, that you quoted from another thread? If so, have you considered running some of it up between the doors? I have a 2dr so I cannot say for sure, but would guess that you should be able too. Perhaps one of the 4dr guys, who has had those panels off can chime in about it.
-
Please do not encourage him... I will take another look at it and see if there is anything "special" that you need to know, as I not only installed map lights but I also ran a security cable through the pillars, both long ago. But I am pretty sure it was fairly straight forward.

Yes, if I was able too peek in and determine that my RH Cam was broken while sitting on the side of the road with minimal tools, then looking for squared off edges or rounded teeth should be a breeze Sorry can't help there but perhaps a call to the dealer with your VIN number would be easier quicker than waiting for someone to answer this?
-
I deleted your other thread, no need for two topics about the same thing with or without the same title, one is enough.

Unless you are in an extremely harsh environment, one that destroys rubber such as tires in record time, then you should have nothing to worry about. Seven years is not so long in the life of a timing belt.

I merged the "tico70" account into your original and removed the quoted post. In the future if you have a problem resetting your password please contact us sooner and before you create a new account, so we can manually reset the account password for you.

Look into swapping shifts with someone to free up a weekend day. If you cannot then perhaps you need to weight the pro's and con's of taking a day off work.
-
My rule of thumb with Timing Belts is unless the they can provide receipts, just change it asap. No use risking an interference engine on an unknown or a sellers "word"

*gave it another shot*

Countless images are posted daily here at NPORA... and they appear without a problem, when they are entered correctly. "hmmm" indeed! There is so much wrong with that link that I am not sure where to start... so let me just post a couple images showing it. Posted link with INCORRECT URL and INCORRRCT Image Tags *showing the original as it appears in the post and as it appears in a quoted text box CORRECTED URL with CORRECTED Image Tags CORRECTED with Image Tags Option 2 (and what the forum automatically changes the first option too) And the result of a proper entry is I imagine that you are using IE11, as I mentioned previously (bottom of post 6 to be exact), something about IE11 does not like the text entry box, nor does it like the image box that pops up. So Stop using the image box if you are using IE11, just paste the PB link directly into the text box. Now about that, something about IE11 does not seem to like that either, so if nothing appears then turn off the advanced features of the box by hitting the little light switch (also mentioned earlier) in the upper left of the tool bar and pasting will work normally. HERE

So you can't cut and paste from PB? Ok last try for me, since I am not receiving any useful information even though I have asked more than once... Try hitting the little light switch looking button in the upper left of the text box tool bar, that will turn everything off and give you a text only view of what you type. /done

What is a "decent price"? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-W0133-1602521-Panhard-Rod-/301320919762?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1997|Make%3ANissan|Model%3APathfinder&hash=item4628205ad2&vxp=mtr

You tried what??? Pics work fine in all the ways I described above... as long as you type out the code properly. Manually entering the code has nothing to do with your computer. Copy and pasting the "DIRECT" link entry in Photobook also works without issue. If you are having problems with the image button entry method then that is another story but so far I cannot tell exactly what you have a problem with and what you do not, because you are not being clear on exactly what and how you are trying to post a pic. Exactly what works and What does not? What browser are you using or what browsers are you using? Does it work in any of them, none of them, and how does it differ between them? And just for good measure, what OS are you using?

Sorry above I said [ url ] and [ /url ] but actually meant [ img ] and [ /img ] (both without the spaces after [ and before ]. But that link in your prior post is not complete, it simply points to photobuckets site and not the actual image. From photobucket you can get the image URL using the DIRECT link like this http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/RedPath88/First%20Annual%20MrJim%20Run/P1020279.jpg With that you can manually add the code like this [url=http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/RedPath88/First%20Annual%20MrJim%20Run/P1020279.jpg] *Note: When using [ img ] and [ /img ] the forum will automaticly change them to [ img= and ] when posting. And remember that the spaces after the [ and before the ] must be removed to use them correctly. Either of those will result in You can also copy the IMG link from Photobuckets site and paste it here, it will look like this [url=http://s66.photobucket.com/user/RedPath88/media/First%20Annual%20MrJim%20Run/P1020295.jpg.html][img=http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h245/RedPath88/First%20Annual%20MrJim%20Run/P1020295.jpg][/URL] and result in There is a problem with the image button and some browsers, it freezes the same way for me in IE11 but currently works (just tested) in fresh installs of Firefox and Chrome. I do not know if it is flash/java related, security setting related or directly related to the browser itself. Have not really look that deep into it, because I do and have always just manually typed the code in.
-
How exactly are you trying to do it? copy and pasting code from posting site using the image button manually typing the image code or ??? Please post the plain url of one of the pics you are trying to post, without using the [ img ] code or using the button. If for some reason you cannot and are getting an error please manually type the following code to the beginning and end of the url [code]type url here[/code]

Ok things are sliding way off topic, lets get back on the topic of "What did you do to your Pathfinder today?" Take the further discussion of ECM tuning, beyond the "I installed a modded unit today" to the existing thread on it and debates about air and engine cleanliness to PM's or another thread, such as the off topic section for non-Pathfinders

wow, not an easy thing to do, breaking a WD21 hook!

Given the open nature of of the winch opening, you might want to consider something along these lines as well http://www.4wheelparts.com/Winches-Winch-Accessories/Winch-Lock.aspx?t_c=18&t_s=124&t_pt=101538

Thank You I printed and created a new PDF (no way was I giving them CC info so I could download an original) and NPORA once again has this document on our own servers. Pathfinder Common Problems/Fixes, Read this first! has had the first post updated with the local link to the file.

Not doubting it, it just goes back to this.
-
But yes, if your ok then your ok... for now
-
You may want to read deeper into that, most agree by the end that a truck swap would be preferable over a frame swap
-
If your going to be doing this it might not be a bad idea to start fresh by re-indexing them. The instructions on doing that are in the HOW To section above and although there is a bit more involved than nunya's adjustment instructions above, it's it by no means difficult. Just takes some time. The order? Bushings/Arms Adjust Torsion Bars Tires Alignment (if not at the same time, then very soon after) 3 & 4 can be swapped, if you get tires and alignment done at the same shop, ask them.
-
And there you go, someone confirming my opinions about both (NOT looping a strap back on itself & using a shackle to connect the strap to a d-ring) I also like the idea of and equalizing strap. Anytime to you can effectively spread recovery forces over a larger area/multiple points, it is a good thing.
