Another vote for the Redline GL4, I had to replace my transmission, coincidentally, the same time as 5523 and did for the same reasons. I went with Redline MT90 and have had no problems since. Sure, the bill is higher but the cost was worth it. As above, you'll never get it all out without a teardown, so just let drain until it stops and you'll be ok.

What is the difference between 86.5-89 vs 90-95
RedPath88 replied to Chadius's topic in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders
I don't think adjustability sliding was ever in question, instead I think it is more about the pass side seat back automatically tipping forward and the seat moving all the way forward then the release is pulled from the back or the lever from the side. The same accessibility "feature" present on all most all 2dr vehicles for easier access in and out of the back seats. Ah yes I had forgotten about the window switches being different 2dr to 4dr. Not only are there obviously more but they are also located on the arm and not on the panel. -

Well I don't believe you'll find that in a pass seat from a 4dr, but maybe a 4dr owner can confirm. -
It pays to read through other areas ofthe forum Pinned in the Garage: Suspension Lift Information From the Garage>How-To's section: How To Re-Index Your Torsion Bars Best to start here when lifting, that way everything is "reset" from the start

Other than styling, seats and doors should be the same yes. Other than the change in mid-rear side windows for the addition of two extra doors little changed in the bodies. Bumpers and dash changed shape in 94. -

um.. sure ok

Maybe not, but it does have a power plug

Yeah I was hopeful that Nissan was going to honor the Pathfinder legacy when they R51 came out, but sadly (and predictably) it did not last and the Pathfinder is going the way of all good SUV's by falling victim to the creature comfort over versatility crowd.

Tach and Temp Gauges not working
RedPath88 replied to MWJones159's topic in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders
A good place to start would be in the New People Start Here! section with the Pinned Topic Pathfinder Common Problems/Fixes, Read this first! Might take note of the first problem addressed, it just could be a starting point -
The symbol kinda makes sense for that I guess, could be an after market replacement switch. Now granted my truck is an 88 and some things changed, but in that spot I have my Cruise On/Of switch and the Rear Window Defrost is in the space to the left, where there is no switch in the pic above. My Defrost switch says Timer / Off and has a pic of a rear window with wavy heat arrows going up it.

They mean little to nothing. This has been discussed countless times over the years and there is very little consistency in package features because almost all options were exactly that, options, across all trim levels.
-
Yes Here's an older pic, but it shows the fairlead and winch cable.
-
Oh there was an "optional" plate, but it was a cable exit hole cover plate used to close of the hole in the front for those not mounted a winch in the bumper.
-
It is build in, see the four holes in the front? That is the winch mounting point, I have the same bumper and have a winch mounting inside
-
Just the center cap, the wheels are fine

Send a PM to Alkorahil, our friendly neighborhood Nissan (dealer) parts guy! You might include your VIN to speed things along as he may ask for it anyway.
-
Yeah if you have pictures of the truck it was one, post them up! Was there a winch on it? Please give us a description of the truck(though pics would be better)
-
Next time just use the report button and ask us to move it As for the switch, what 5523 said, not factory. You will have better luck tracing the wiring to find out what it is... or was, than with anyone trying to guess as to what it might be, given that it is aftermarket.

One thread is enough the other one was deleted.
