Yeah, would probably describe many of us I'm to cheap to buy a stand alone, or at least to cheap the pay what they want for a decent one However, it's been a LONG time since I priced them, maybe I should again -thnkboutit- But I do have multiple tool box's often stacked on top of each other... I wonder if that counts as a tool chest? Then there are the various tools hanging from walls and on shelves

Yeah broken wipers suck... Christmas night while driving to Aberdeen, WA I had my drivers side wiper arm break, all of the sudden the wiper was at a 90deg angle and I could not see a dang thing in the heavy down pour that was happening at the moment. I had to pull off on to a should barely big enough for my truck to fit and on the inside of a near blind down hill corner and search the cab of the truck for the sole tool I had with me, a crescent wrench. Moved the Pass side arm to the drivers side , by the time I was done I was completely soaked! Get them TRE's fixed and maybe invest in a stabilizer. Searching around for a PS box and pump might not be a bad idea either. My '83 Yota was manual steering too, but after my first set of 33's I decided it was time to change that. After locating a box and pump w/brackets, hoses and reservoir it was simply a bolt in swap. Hopefully Toyota did not change anything on the frame when they added PS to the LC's

Ahh cool, now I can increase the filtration and capacity on my Pathy like I did on my Yota

When using the stock radiator then the limit is 2000lbs (907kg) and a tongue load of 200lbs (91kg). Now given the distance that you would be pulling the boat... give it a shot, see how the Pathy handles it. Then decide if it's time to be rid of it in favor of a larger truck.

I bought one a while back... until this thread I have never heard them called a "PTC Heater" but they are also called Mixture Heaters and iirc Nissan called it an Insulator when I ordered the new one. A shorted out heater could cause a fusible link in the circuit to blow.

That's right, it was such a no contest that my Pathy did not even have to show up Ok, Ok "maybe" you won due to forfeit :X Ok but to be honest, from what little I could see of P's truck, I liked it... mine aspires to be similar in the future It looked good and had a nice flowmaster sound. Next time I need to get a better look at it, maybe even a ride to see how the suspension mods have effected it

I replaced mine some time ago and found them for far less than what the dealer wanted. *I am not posting this info (yet) because it involves a number and a name.. who I have not talked to yet to see if it's ok. Sorry, worked late last night, tonight (just got home) and will likely be again tomorrow. But I see Mr. P came to the rescue It's to bad that he set such a strict viewing time/date. Mr. P I live in Yelm, but work in the Kent-So Seattle area (extending south to Auburn and even Fredrickson - Sometimes north and east of Seattle). I start and usually end my day in Kent and am currently working there all day. I leave work at 2-2:30 unless I work OT. I can make the trip to Kent in the evening, so that's not to much of a problem. Monday's would be most convenient for me though.. depending on the time. But again, another time can be worked out. derogate, not too worry about a meal... it's not about that, it's about helping a you not get screwed on the deal Edit: the hammer in the beginning was not supposed to be there :lol

Yeah you probably should.. as should everyone else. When I first bought my Pathy the fan only worked on high (bad resistor) and when I pulled it to install the replacement there was a lot of junk in there. Although not as bad as what Ticker had, it was still too much.

I would be willing to swing by... possibly on my way home one day. Or maybe on a Monday afternoon/evening. Perhaps both Mr.P and I could arrange a time for the two of us to take a look at the same time, might be able to learn more that way... Hey PJay... you've been around off and on... would it be possible if you could clue us in on what's up? Did we miss something, is the availability a ways out, or is it just not possible to get manuals anymore? Just asking, everyone is kinda hanging here

That will get it loose... one way or another However, I would agree with counter-clockwise... don't know of any reverse threaded oil drain plugs.... I mean, why would it be that way, there is no need for it to be non-standard

Thats to bad, but if it helps any it won't be the last (not talking about the accident, that will hopefully not happen again). As you wheel you'll you will likely get more scratches.... it gives the truck that used well broke in look... aka that comfotable, just right feeling. Just like an old pair of shoes But... Happy Birthday anyway
