  1. Personally, instead of doing all the work to get a new set, I'd just weld the ends onto some nice strong DOM tubing, like 1/4" wall stuff that the ends could slide into to get the right length...I know someone who SAS'ed did this to make new lowers while they used the stock lowers as uppers....
  2. Well I'm just sick of looking for something in the truck at midnight on the trail or at camp, and having 1 halogen bulb 6 feet away on the ceiling. I wasn't aware that there was a factory map light rearview, I thought they were only attached to the ceiling above the rearview... I was considering doing the under-door lighting, but swapped that for the original idea of rock lights, as I can save on shipping if I buy the LED strips and rock LED's @ 1x, and that way I could wire ALL the rock lights onto a relay, have it triggered by either a switch or by the Dome light....yeah, I've thought about this a bit! I'll be waiting kiwipete!
  3. 1) Is it prewired like the alarm? 2) If so, what do I need to get? 3) If not, what have yall done? I was thinking 4 of those 24 LED strips, one under each side of the dash, and one under each front seat for the back floors. How would I wire them up do you think? Just steal power from the dome light fuse to trigger a relay? 4) I also had an idea recently. Instead of swapping in an OEM map light from a newer model and having to cut all that stuff, could you swap in a new rearview mirror that has the lights built in? My malibu has two lights with manual switches on the bottom of the rearview that would be simple...what you guys think? Sincerely- Sick of dropping crap at night.
  4. The funny thing is, I need to do my brakes, and they have a ton of brake stuff on sale....I just don't have the 150 bucks for new calipers, rotors, a MC, drums, pads, and shoes! Lotsa good prices! Especially on brakes/steering
  5. Jeeze....you're ROUGH on your skids! Do you think that would have happened on 1/4" steel?
  6. I've seen kits for many vehicles (such as suzuki samurai's) that use a 2" DS spacer, so I don't see why not
  7. Your hilarious... Jackstands on frame=wheels off ground just to clarify
  8. for SOME reason I don't have that issue.... dang
  9. Any idea if this can be done with a 28 spline auto factory hub and a 27 spline warn manual? j/w
  10. Gps coordinates please!!!!! Lol, I would cut the roof off and take it w/me before I left that there! Especially since I don't have a roof rack
  11. I can't get any of my wheels ON the ground, they're always on jackstands....lawl
  12. 3+3=33's but my BFG's only measure 31.5 with full tread...wtf People are ALWAYS commenting "your tires don't LOOK like 33's" or "Your running 31s?" <_<
  13. Mailing me your bumper would make up for the disappointment you just caused me.... Anywho, if you take a look at Packie88's front bumper, you can see a fairly simple way to make a functional front bumper. I'm doing something similar minus the winch though, as I have better things to spend 300 on!
  14. AFAIK they will NOT fit, maybe get one shipped from the states (if they don't have them there)
  15. That pic really makes me want a 95....that dash is pretty neat
  16. Dang dude, why didn't you just buy the RC kit? I coulda gotten it to you for like 270 shipped....USPS flat rate international doesn't have customs fees I believe, atleast that's what I read. Did you have any COD when I sent you the shackles? I figured that you'd already gotten UCA's otherwise I woulda offered!
  17. THAT should have been the ad for the pathfinders when being sold! Seriously, one of the best photos of a pathy I've ever seen
  18. I just read an article in 4wheeler where they added a wet nitrous kit to a 4l I6 jeep cherokee....looked pretty easy and got even ME thinking.....an extra 50 hp would be pretty nice, if I wasn't broke!
  19. Excluding the cost of new tires, I have oh, i'd say at MOST 500-700 into my truck as far as offroad modifications go, and it can perform alongside 10,000 purchased vehicles with another 3k in mods! man, I wish I had 3k to spend on mods, thats an SAS!
  20. omg, I was thinking those exact words as I was scrolling down the page! Thats customer satisfaction!
  21. I have a slight whistle when I use a tiny touch of the go pedal with my cone filter, goes away as air velocity increases. oh yeah http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=26957
  22. Well after some thinking I decided I'm going to "rust convertor" it and paint it semi-gloss black....I don't want to tempt my luck by weakening it (I know it won't really though) and incase I ever decide to SAS and such, I may want to put some fresh fenders on that I would kinda want the lower bolt for...if that makes sense.... Plus, I won't gain a whole bunch of approach angle, and if I'm going to be approaching something that tall, I'll have ALOT more problems down the rest of the body, lol
  23. Gotta say, my IFS doesn't feel any different with a buncha steel on the front, and my shotty fabrication is ALOT more slim-line than the stock bumper. Next time I have it off i'll weight it for ya! IFS should be fine, although it may be springier, which can be resolved via new torsion bars from calmini (said to be HD) and honestly, if I had started at 8 am and worked until dark I coulda done what I have done in one day, less if I knew what I was doing and had the right tools! it wasn't too difficult to make a simple bumper that once all dressed up (stinger, dring tabs, reinforcement) I could easily sell for 150-200 bucks!
