  1. Was this the truck KA24 or was it used in the 240sx as well? Because if it was used in the 240sx KA24 I bet a tuner shop somewhere makes larger throttle bodies...
  2. OK I have been kicking this idea around in my head for a while: I want to go to Moab this summer. This might be my last chance to go on a long trip for a the next couple of years as I am (hopefully) about to enter the 9-5 workforce. So would any other NPORA members be up for a trip? If you can't make it but have some knowledge of the area do you have any tips/advice for me?
  3. Happy birthday dude! Hope things are going well!

  6. Sick VR-4! But that Pathy, it is too clean. Me thinks it'd look better with a nice coating of dark black mud. Welcome to the forums!

  8. So where abouts in Cali are you? So-Cal? Nor-Cal?
  9. "Aw it don't matter." My grandfather's favorite saying, and it has also become one of mine. "I don't need your CHUMP CHANGE!" (with extra emphasis on the chump change) The phrase that got one of my co-workers fired, and is now the accepted phrase to tell the waitress at the end of the night when she tips out the kitchen.
  10. Yah and she was creepy as hell. And FYI I did meet some very nice girls. Nothing happened of course, but I did get a couple of numbers (not that those really matter as none of them live anywhere near Santa Cruz.)
  11. LOL I just realized that I have a friend request waiting from you on Myspace Steevo!

  19. Well an LSD works as such: it allows the differential to remain open under most conditions: such as going around a corner. But if the difference between the two tires becomes too much, say if you're on an icy road it locks the differential allowing both tires to spin at the same time. However it's not perfect, and if one tire is completely off the ground the LSD will have a hard time engaging. The brake + gas method is a way to try and get the LSD to engage when one wheel is off the ground. It involves (you ready for this?) pressing the brake whilst depressing the accelerator, hopefully encouraging the LSD to engage and get power to the wheel that's actually on the ground.
  20. No I will be in San Jose all weekend for Fanimecon.
  21. Enjoi can confirm that even the WD21 LSD has a tough time when one tire is off the ground. I need to get more practise on the brake + gas method of engaging it...
  22. Two to three years is about how long it takes for them to start producing fruit, but from a winery's perspective they don't produce significant amounts of fruit for about 4 to 5 years. But once they start to produce fruit they will continue to do so for a very long time, as long as the vines are well cared for and pruned yearly.
