  1. It is a black-and-yellow argiope (Argiope aurantia), or writing spider. www.robsplants.com/ critters/spinners.php Also I should mention that it is not dangerous or anything, and is a good critter for protecting your tomatos. Also another common name for that spider is garden spider, or tomato spider.
  2. Hehe in the pictures of the individual puppies momma definatly wants to know WTF you are doin with her babies.
  3. "In the news today the US Government reinstituted the draft." "In related news Canada has had a rapid increase in population. Igloo makers are having a hard time keeping up with the unexpected increase in demand."
  4. I still have mine on, but due to the spot I ran into a ton of problems with which Msavides and Yozsi managed to breeze through last time I went wheeling I am definatly gonna be removing it.
  5. I'm guessing that the dealership wouldn't even deal with an electric fan conversion. Or they'll tell you to convert it back to clutch type fan.
  6. Regular has been holding under 3.00 at the non-name brand gas stations here in Santa Cruz. Saw 2.84 when coming home last night. Most big name gas stations have regular at 3.05
  7. Damn Dan! All I got is two ripped CV boots from my last trip.
  8. Welcome! There are a couple of members from SoCal around here as well as quite a few from NorCal (myself included).
  9. To resize a picture on a PC open the picture up in Microsoft Paint, and there should be an option somewhere to re-size it (might be referred to as "scale"). On a Mac you can use GraphicConverter (comes with most Macs, if not you can download it off of the web). Also please host the file on another site, it helps cut down on server and bandwidth costs for us! I'd suggest www.photobucket.com They're free and easy to use. Welcome to the family!
  10. I just got a set of Yokohama Geolander AT-S's. I don't regret my choice for a second. They're super quiet on road, and they lapped up everything I threw at them off road last weekend with hardly a complaint. Plus they look super aggresive despite being an AT.
  11. I'm not going to be able to make it. The inner CV boots are ripped on both the passenger and drivers side, and I don't think I'll have the time to fix them this week. Sorry.
  12. It was great to meet all of you! Hopefully I can get the Pathy off road ready again soon!
  13. OK the final plan is meet tomorrow at Costco at 9:30AM. We'll then roll down to Hollister, gas up and pick up lunch. That hopefully puts us in the park by 11. We'll call Mark when we get to the Ranger station. If anyone is running late just give me a call. Also just to clarify to get to Costco turn right when you exit 85 South (Almaden Expressway exit). That will take you directly into the Costco parking lot.
  14. I think there's been one guy from Turkey before, had that weird 95 or 94 but with a two door body... Anyways welcome to the (international) family!
  15. Enjoi wants to meet a little earlier in San Jose, say at 9:30AM. Would this be OK for everyone else?

    Game On!

Oh I know, play really really loud music until just before whenever noise ordinances take affect in your city (it's 10PM in Santa Cruz). I'v got a song guaranteed to drive them insane (you'll probably want ear protection or perhaps go on a long walk, it's a VERY annoying song).
  17. I haven't had them on the freeway yet, but they were silent at 55 today.
  18. Well last Saturday Enjoi and I met at the Costco on Almaden (right off of the 85). Address is: 5301 ALMADEN EXPY, San Jose, CA, 95118 10 AM works for me, that will get us into Hollister at around 11. I don't have a CB but I do have an FRS radio. I'll be using chanel 8. Everybody PM me your cell #'s then I'll send one mass PM out to everyone with all the cell numbers.
  19. I got Yokohama Geolander AT-S's. Where is everyone located? I'd be willing to meet up in San Jose then cruise down and meet up with everyone else in Hollister.
  20. OK got my new tires today so I'm definatly down to go wheeling. These new tires look so aggresive!
  21. It looked very steep and very dusty. Enjoi and I looked down it from the Hill Climb Return trail. It looked like somebody had made it up earlier that day and started leaking coolant or some other fluid once they got to the top.
  22. I suppose that's true, and nothing broke when I was hammering it trying to get up the last ledge on Chapparal Trail...
