  1. The front 3 body mounts are in the same location on both (2 front, 2 A pillar, 2 B pillar), from there they are completely different. The HB has 2 rear body mounts and 4 bed mounts, where the Pathfinder has mounts at the 2 C pillar and 2 at the rear. Also, wheel bases are different, so you would have a good bit of work in changing that to match. It would be much easier to put a HB cab on a Pathy frame.
  2. Nothing particular to an auto. I helped a friend with his a couple years back, easier on a truck since the bed and body are seperate.
  3. How much are your T-bars cranked? What condition are your lower BJs in?
  4. New rods are about $75 from the dealer (for the pair), and come with new nyloc nuts for the rod end.
  5. My 93 started leaking around the seal on the sending unit where it meets the tank. There is an O-ring about 1/8" thick sitting in a groove there. Even witha replaced seal I had a leak, so I had to use a sealer on there also.
  6. Someone just posted a link to the Hardbody flares last week...forget which forum though.
  7. As for the header wrap, I have heard a lot of horror stories about it. From causing fires, causing weld failures, rust promotion and leaks.
  8. I took one of my heat shields from my manifolds and slapped it over the fuel line where it gets close. I have never heard of anyone having an issue, but I didn't want to be the first.
  9. Uh, yeah, and you have a reason for this, or just upping post count?
  10. Yeah, they are like Wii or PS3 (six axis) controllers and can detect their orientation as well as movement in different directions. Just like "real", ie analog ones, they are only "accurate" when completely stopped.
  11. Yes they protect the rockers sitting lower, and less chance of bending them into the rockers (mine are homemade 2" square .120 wall, and I bent my passenger one on a hard hit, no where near the rocker). As for the Hardbodys, they don't have a lift, but the body and front bumper mounts sit about 1.5" higher on the frame, why a 2" BL and Hardbody ARB work well.
  12. All stock bumpers on my 93, painted with Herculiner. The grill guard is a factory one I got off a friend, it was missing the headlight hoops when I got it. Here is a better pic:
  13. The set on my 93 were installed pre-lift, so now there is a 2" space below the pinch weld, but I like them that way so I left them. They are practically level with the bottom of my frame, so it isn't like they sit to low. Not to mention they dual function as a step rail, and that gap gives some toe space. Edit, here is a pic:
  14. People run 33x12.5 on the 15x6 stock chromes just fine, so don't be too worried about rim width.
  15. That's a pretty nice Pathy to have fall in your lap! What part of SD are you in? I would have gotten in too much trouble if I had my Pathfinders (or any other 4x)when I lived there.
  16. They aren't hard, just pull the circlip and pop em out with a drift.
  17. Damn, that is a pocket discount item isn't it?
  18. He was counting the HP from the 2 stickers on the window.
  19. Our trucks tend to not like the Bosches.
  20. Exterior sheet metal off of washers and driers works nice for body repairs too.
  21. Yeah, they don't have those in the UNITED STATES....
  22. I usually put about 1/3 bottle of Seafoam to a full tank every spring. Then 1/3 bottle in the oil before I change it out.
  23. I know a few have on SASed rigs, not much need to spend the extra dime on stock, when a standard shock will work just fine.
  24. If it leaks, just back it out and throw some teflon tape on the threads.
