  1. Never had a Fire, but did have a nice hole under the pedals on my 88. My 93 is still good. I guess that could be another benefit of the Body Lift, it puts some air space between the floor and the exhaust.

    New Toy

It would make a good tow rig for another toy(s)

    Crunch

If there is anything you can't find there let me know, I know of at least 6 Pathfinders in local yards here (Ohio).

At least the parts shouldn't be hard to get, most Pathys I've seen wreched in the front were on the driver's side. Glad you are OK and getting her fixed
  5. Might want to have the tranny on that thing checked, they like to die at about 100k miles on those. I had contemplated buying one myself at onetime.
  6. FCC is probably afraid people would open them up and make them functional on side bands.
  7. That's not a very good deal, I paid $4 each for all of my manuals (Half Price Books ). I buy one everytime I go there.

Yep, you're open diffed. (Or LSD with worn out clutches)
  9. Here is a pic of my skids after the trip to Coal Creek, TN with NOAS: The only damage of note is one of the rear most screws was beheaded, and the very front got a nice abrasion. Otherwise they did their job and protected all the vital parts (like the low hanging exhaust cross over pipe). For the $30 I spent on this I am quite happy. I do plan to do some trimming on them to allow access for oil and other drain plugs, but the plactic will make doing that a simple chore.
  10. To quote Pontiac "Wider is better"
  11. Where are you at? I'll make you one, price based on what you want and type of materials
  12. So where you at? :gossip:
  13. There are a few who would be interested in that tire carrier I'm sure (Vengeful).
  14. Thanks, it's still a work in progress. That truck is my offroader, so it doesn't have to be pretty, but I would like it to be sealed up at least .
  15. Simple cure for the Mirror, get a cheap one and weld it to an extra Hinge pin, then just slide it in the hinge when the door is off.
  16. Yes I did But it's not a "simple" swap. Need to make new mount points for the Maxima rails.
  17. Why not? They can be a pain the first time out, but after that it's pretty simple. The best bet for pulling the wires would be to discconnect everythng in the door and pull it all out of the door since you don't want to cut them. If it were me I would buy a multipin connector and splice it in so you have 1 quick disconnection at the door .
  18. Like you said, the track heights are different, the seat its self has an offset for the tracks. Best bet is to search the junk yards for some replacements if they are too bad, or hunt down some new covers.
  19. There are 2 brackets not in a truck without the tire carrier that are located above and below the tail light for receiving the hinge base bolts.
  20. Another solution to the "poping" or creeks it makes is to put a piece of garden hose over the loop where it runs through the crossmember. The hose stops them from rubbing and being noisey.
  21. I guess the seller realized
  22. What ever makes you happy. I never have liked Xs and the new one is just as bad
  23. http://groups.msn.com/nissan4x4/_whatsnew.msnw Does that help?
  24. Look at this pic (it's large so I'll just give the link) My Webpage The depresion is right where I described, there is a black plug at the bottom of it. That pic is my 88 that has the external carrier, my 93 also had it, with the internal carrier(removed now).
  25. Hey 4Hummer, I found your site on a google search when I was contemplating chopping my truck and getting ideas. Nice of you to stop in and check us out here :cool2:
