  1. Depending on how bad/where it bent they can straighten the frame.
  2. The advantage behind getting the Body lift from AC is they upgrade the bolt package in the PA bodylifts they sell.
  3. Saw them in the latest "Off Road Adventures" addazine, I think it's another Teflon wheel, not sure though.
  4. As far as I know you either need to drop the front diff, or pull the engine out the top to access the pan and gasket.
  5. One mount I have seen that is pretty good is a set of rectangular leaf spring mounts clamped on the crossmembers, bolt heads up, makes attaching them a little trickier, but skidding the loop side over a rock won't hurt it.
  6. I wouldn't mind these, but not going to pay that much for a set of wheels.
  7. Leave at least a 1/2" between the UCA and the bumpstop and you should be OK.
  8. Check your compression rod on the LCA, they tend to wear where they meet the frame and will creak when the front flexes. One of mine creaked for 2 years before it finally broke in 2.
  9. They have anime every Tuesday ond Friday on there.
  10. No problem, glad to hear you got er fixed :cool2:
  11. For as much lift as you gave it you could have stuck with the stock UCAs, all they would do to allign it is put a few shims in. With the aftermarket UCAs try going up to 3" and see if it gets better since they were probably made to correct for that much of a lift.
  12. By killin it? No, finnessing the clutch
  13. Any time I drive a manual I always downshift rather than ride the brake, heck my old Honda Accord I could even stop it with 1st gear and no brake.
  14. You probably hit your crossover pipe and either put a hole in it, or stressed a connection in the pipes somewhere. The crossover pipe sits lower than anything else in the front of the vehicle, just another one of Nissans great engineering ideas pssd . I caught mine on a rock once and it cracked right at the Y about 3/4 around and sepperated about 1/2" at the widest. Had to put a floor jack under the crossover to bend it back up and close the gap back so I could weld it back together.
  15. I second the coil as the first check. How old is your fuel filter?
  16. I'm sure there are many people who have never even heard of an 8 track tape deck. Hell, they were phased out when I was a kid.
  17. Actually a lot of the old "Ram Air" setups had the hood scoop open toward the windsheild for just the effect your Dad was talking about.
  18. Huh? It's a quote from Heavy Metal. Cool about the Gasaraki, I hadn't resorted to an internet search yet, was still trying to find it locally. What started me on anime was Star Blazers and Speed Racer, back before I had even started going to school (circa 78). Then Robotech when it first aired. Then drifted away from it and got back into it when I started college and bought Akira. I had heard about it's adaptation from a comic book back before I had drifted and decided to see how it turned out.
  19. You don't need to remove both rears, just the side you need to replace. My driver's rear is snapped on my 88, stealer wanted $75 for a new cable...I went and bought some cable at the hardware store and some crimp on ends to replace mine.
  20. "I know how to drive when I'm stoned" Yeah, G4 always has different animes on, watched part of Last Exile on there. One thing I'm pissed about, I started buying a series called Gasuraki, now I can't find it anywhere and only have 2 of the series. It's pretty good from what I have seen, just wish I could find the rest of it.
  21. Roll with it.... I know HM isn't Japanese Animation, but an as close as the Americans have got I have all the Ghost stuff on DVD, the best parts of the series aren't on the Adult Swim (the intermition animations). Another good series is Hellsing.
  22. Heavy Metal is awesome, but the sequel was even better (Heavy Metal 2000 I think) BS, the original HM was much better than the second. Another good anime is Ghost in the Shell
  23. Anyone worried about locking a wheel on the carrier just invest in a cheap Bicycle cable lock and loop it through the wheel and the tube of the carrier.
