  1. Took out about 10lbs of flaked off crap from inside the frame  I'll post more pics later tonight
  2. oh, that's awesome.. thanks for sharing. Yeah, those are pretty. I keep getting ideas.....I need more materials :sniff:
  3. Mine is just mounted to the crossbars on the factory rack. I did remove the runners off of the roof under the rack before I installed the basket.
  4. Here is what it looks like after I tapped at the rusty spots with a hammer: Right outside the T-bar crossmember Center body mount Rear frame Over rear wheel Over lower link mount This is all on the passenger side. The drivers side has no bad spots
  5. Sounds like it could be the heat sheilds on the exhaust, they will rattle big time once they get loose.
  6. I had seen a bunch of designs over on AC from people on there. I started to make a tube front to match my rear, but never finished it.
  7. Let me know what you find out, I'd really like a set.
  8. After your blow up on snorkels, I'm suprised by that responce from you.
  9. The crack on the front was from trail damage.
  10. I think it may be the same one posted before, but here: He said they are for an 88 Hilux and he swapped front to rear/rear to front vs how they would go on the Yota.
  11. I know one guy in Iceland used 4Runner flares for his Pathy.
  12. I just used some 2" square tube and made frame mounts out of 5/8" plate steel.
  13. AC sells the ARBs not cheap (but no bullbar bumper is). I think TJM still has them available, and I think KMA makes custom ones.
  14. I think the thing that could cause the biggest headache for either job would be broken bolts. Only heard one story of a Body bolt breaking on a lift, but it was the rear most mount and the guy had a hell of a time getting it fixed.
  15. If you wanna get out, get a winch
  16. One guy on AC is from Iceland, he was talking about some of the lifts they do in order to run tires like that. Stuff that wouldn't fly here like 6"-12" Body lifts.
  17. They switched mid year 93, mine has the 60k
  18. Most of them are black, or black and chrome (the cheap ones anyway).
  19. That's part of it. I go to my Step-Dad's shop because he has all the air tools and such that help speed the process along.
  20. Yes I wrote that, it does not imply the Pathy to be ugly, it implies that while I do like the Pathy/ D21 front, I like the 620 & 720 fronts better. -thnkboutit-
  21. I used to laugh at all the tree hugging hippies in Nor Cal all driving their VWs pouring black smoke out the tail pipes. Guess we now have the techno-geek version online.
