  1. No problem I have a question now though, anyone know where to get a new horn button? Mine is FUBAR!
  2. Just some paint, I like to be different. Better than fake wood or carbon fiber stuck all over everything
  3. Grant GT wheel $57, Install kit $25; got the wheel at Autozone, and the install kit at PepBoys (neither of which carry Grant wheels anymore). I put a "Pilot" brand wheel in my 88 that I also got at Autozone for $30.
  4. True, thank God ! See, this poll is about Pathfinders (you know, with Frames...) not plastic coated mall cruisers, grocery getters and mail jeeps... Sorry, we'll set one up for you... B Yeah, at least ours look like trucks and not lifted cars
  5. Like Jason said, their have been quite a few injuries and deaths from improper "yanking" tools and techniques. One reason it's a good idea to even switch from a steel to synthetic winch line.
  6. I'm sure there would be more helping hands if he were to open it up though. Anyway, got some good shots!
  7. I think the main lights are 194s, same for the blinker lights. Not sure what size the little ones in the warning lights are though.
  8. Most aftermarket wheels are large enough. Unless you go to Jegs and buy a Drag Wheel.
  9. I did it for the chicks, not the HP
  10. I put one in both of mine, I hate the skinny little stock wheel. I have large hands and like the thicker grip on GT style wheels.
  11. Hey, I like the green....did some green in mine too, need more though. I used a model paint for mine, its made to stick to plastic. Not to mention tons of colors available. I did red in my 93, but used duplicolor matched to the stock exterior Aztec Red.
  12. Did you buy older 15" Pathy wheels? R50s came with 16" right (I admit I don't know much about those model Pathys)?
  13. So you want the whole new dash? One problem you would have with the guages then is the speedos are electronic in 94+ models.
  14. Most guys use transverse 4cyl engines in buggys like that. The mount them so the outputs of the transaxel run to the front and rear axels. They don't scream like a V-8.
  15. All the dashes are the same 87-93.
  16. I have fogs for added rear ligh on both of mine. My 93 is wired like JJ was talking about, but on my 88 I just ran them on their own switch so I can just flip them on whenever I want them (great for tailgaters).
  17. Hell, even Universities pay their test subjects. How many college students do you think would pay to have medical experiments done on them....
  18. Coal Creek is just outside of Oak Ridge and Knoxville TN. It has a wide range of trail levels there. Definately join up with NOAS, good group. Not to mention a nice gathering comming up in Sept. which would be a good place for you to test out your rig. With all the other experianced Nissan owners around you won't be led a stray on the trails.
  19. I have the parts all ready to do it in my 88, I grabbed the guage cluster and wire connectors out of a 93, but haven't found the down time available for it. The later model guage clusters use 3, 12 pin connectors and the older ones use 3, 10 pin connectors so all the wires need to be spliced into a set of connectors that match the guage cluster, not to mention the wire groupings are also different for those connectors. Not sure about Oz models, but the US models changed over in 94 to a different dash and guage setup, so here 93 is the newest that would fit.
  20. One reason most "choppers" use an S&S motor.
  21. That's half the point of lifting it right, Civic clearance? LOL, good 1 Bud !!
  22. A friend of mine made up a bunch a couple years ago. As for the hinges/risers, yeah those parts are an ABS plastic.
  23. Was that at the Salt Lake facility? Guess they'll be mandating longer tethers on the kill switches now.
  24. Hope you plan to stay on the road with those, they don't call em ThornTURDs for nothing. But hey whatever works for you.
  25. Yes, you have to replace the plastic "grills" with ones made to hold the fogs.
