  1. Unless you are in the far north and it dips into the -20 or worse daily put what the manual recomends. 10-** is more than enough at the thin end for most all places in NA.
  2. Or maybe a leaking or blown gasket.

Yes, more punch when you put your foot down, and a very noticeable growling sound from the engine.
  4. Usually anything NOT Calmini is a better choice..... No different here, L&P are better.

One of the reasons I have drug my feet on doing it, but I do DD it in stop and go traffic.

    CV axle

Well, if the pic is of what he is selling, it isn't a CV for our trucks. Looks like a 2wd half shaft. Otherwise for the price + shipping you can probably get one locally for close to the same.

A couple people have something like that. I bought material to make a sheild for mine, just haven't gotten around to builing it.

    Airbox mod

You really won't increase much of anything that way. The size of the MAF opening is all the larger the intake opening needs to be. So as long as your airbox has roughly 7 sqin of inlet opening(s) you are good.
  10. Did you hose out the inside of the frame everytime? That's where stuff tends to collect and cause the issues. Just washing the outside, or spraying the frame off won't cut it.
  11. Those look more like the VG30I wires. The VG30Es are longer to get around the intake manifold. Usually if they are made specifically for the Pathy/HB E model then they will have the retainer pin points in the boot moulding also.
  12. Get a WD (87-95) they are more rugged.
  13. Or hammer a socket just ever so slightly smaller onto it and take em of that way.

Full part list: SPT81413 Universal MAF adapter (still needed some slight modification) SPT8718 6" ABS tube (they now offer an aluminum ) SPT8711 Holesaw & gromet kit (gromets are made to fit the curved tube, allowed me to plumb the stock vac and breather lines) SPT8772 Red coupler SPT8752 Red reducer coupler Bought it all at Pep Boys. Here is a link to the Spectre site: http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/Spectre.asp
  15. Bumpers/brackets were changed, frame mounts didn't. They will swap, but the valance/air damn part on an older (86-92) Pathy will not work with a newer (93+) bumper. For me it has always been easiest to remove the 4 bolts at the frame that the braket mounts to, than the 8 bolts that hold the bumper on the braket.
  16. $900 Buy a $250 welder, $50 in steel and spend a weekend with it
  17. Might be easier on a Pathy box to just use the hole already in it and just remove the "ducting" to it.
  18. I do 99% of my cuts with an anglegrinder with a metal cut-off wheel.
  19. I agree, I don't go near that efing site.
  20. Do they give a rating for how it handles in SALT? :furious: They close the roads here if there is snow on them

Here is a pic of my "creation". I used Spectre Performance parts. As for the filter/MAF just hanging, I took a piece of 3/4" aluminum strap and made a support from one of the stock air box mounts up to one of the bolts on the MAF (blocked by MAF in picture) .
  22. I ment for him to do it, not send it in pieces to be assembled by the buyer.
  23. Then how do the 3.3 heads work on the 3.0 block?
  24. BTW, they changed 90% of the wire connectors when they switched to the curvy dash. All the same wiring, but not "Plug and Play".
