Wondering what my truck is worth;

93 Pathfinder SE 4x4 with all the standard equipment

190k

10k on remanufactured Nissan block and heads

New rotors, drums, pads, shoes less than 10k ago

very little rust on body

right head light and both tail lamps have an electrical problem [could just be a fuse]

Interior in fair condition

Thanks in advance

one of the car salesman (i think he mighta been in charge of buying trade-ins) at the Nissan dealership offered me 5K for mine today. i asked him "just lookin at it, what makes you think it's worth 5K?" he said "well i just added a couple grand onto the worth so that i can get you to sell it to me"

no way i'm sellin my pathy

my 95 won't sell for more than 2k so I refuse to sell it...it has some cosmetic (some dings and oxidation on the hood) and minor mechanical problems (MT syncro but still is strong)

I really think its who wants it...I paid $4500 for my 95 2 years ago which was over the KBB but I needed a vehicle and I got it from my cousin who needed the $ so I didn't mind paying over cost for it...but I refuse to sell it for less than $3500 so now its a matter of getting it to CA

Wow, pathfinders must be more valuable up here (maybe because of the rarity of rust free ones? :tonguefinger: ) My 95 was valued by the insurance at 4900 and they retailed it at 4500, thats what I had to pay tax on :handlebars:

I bought my 91 SE 2 years ago for $2500. It was and is in excellent shape. Only issue was it had a torn drivers side arm rest. I bought a brand new one for 80 bucks so now it is in perfect condition. It has little nicks and dents here and there but what 15 year old truck doesn't. I have definitely put more into it already than I paid for it. I would not sell this truck for anything.

Have fun smoging it... i am not looking forward to that when i return to cali

where you at in cali? nor cal so cal?

I think that is why I got mine cheap. when I went to change ownership, It failed smog. Changed the O2 Sensor, Cat and cleaned the EGR passage and it passed with flying colors. Very low numbers across the board. As long as there is no major engine issues should be able to get it to pass for under $300 bucks.

I'm in the middle sorta...some people call it socal some people call it mid cal...I just call it BFE in the middle of the mojave desert...

Umm yes smog...if I can find a way to keep my NC inspection up to date I"ll just keep the NC plates on it like my 87...but with it its under the radar...NC started this thing 2 years ago if it was inspected then...then if you were over a year in getting it inspected then they canceled your registration and charge you $250...well I never got my 87 done so I can keep my plates up to date...I'm really waiting to see what they make my buddy do with his 2002 fronty...he just moved here from Belguium and his fronty has FL plates..

sorry to thread jack...

or you could also do what my buddy does...

Get a p.o box in a county where you dont need to smog, and just say you live up there for all your smog work, go up there once a month to get your papers and call it good.. sorry for highjack too :tonguefinger:

wow a good pathy here can still go for 10k, i got my insurance company to pay me 12.5k after it was totaled cuz of all the work i had done on it and i bought another one for 6.2k. the first on was an auto with leather and heated everything and was perfect, the second one i got now is manual cloth and fewer options but its a bush truck now that pretends to be a daily driver.
