  1. Asking for a member of another forum: Hi I stripped the interior of my 1995 pathfinder to clean and maintain. Under the carpets in driver and passenger footwell benieth pedals is a heavy moulded rubber that covers the whole area, I presume to help protect and muffle sound from engine (???). Mine was completely perished and falling to pieces so I took it out on both sides. I am now looking to replace but don't know what these pieces are called. Any ideas or a link? Cheers
  2. inline six will destroy v8 all day long and still drive home to tell about it nice machine, heres a photo i took of a local one at a junkyard :
  3. tnorgan4 posted up this info many years ago see if u can find it
  4. mine busted a hole through the sheet metal, stabbed my battery, and broke a fuse box. I drove down a black diamond trail with it like that too, and limped out of the desert to a gas station for several miles!!!!! The tire was smeltering hot when i got there.
  5. ^^ Keep in mind the stock replacement will eventually go bad again and death sway is guaranteed to return....
  6. Yup! ive got 17x9. 4.5 BS no problems with tire/strut clearance.
  7. I can vouch for Tyler - great seller and very trustworthy. I would buy a set but i already pressed in poly bushings into the stock LCA's. Yes pressing the stock ones out was a pain in the ass (destroyed a 10,000 lb press) i wish these links were available it would have been much easier! If you don't already have upgraded LCA's, i highly recommend it. Noticeable improvement in handling. Makes the SUV handle much more precisely both on road and off, you can thrash the suspension all you want and you never have to worry about death wobble or cracked bushings again!
  8. ???? stock rims are 4.5 BS and people fit 31's on those all the time. I have 4.5" BS rims with 32" mud terrains on. with a 3" backspacing, like you suggest, your pathfinder will look like those nissan sentras from the 90's that have 100 spoke rims that stick out way beyond the wheel well. You might as well install "curb feelers" at that point.
  9. << Brembo rotors with Hawk HPS pads.... brakes are strong yet precise
  10. oh gosh another one... thats f**kin badass
  11. i guess im on xfactor's side on that one. I like my cheap cars and random cars detailed and i like my baller cars dirty
  12. im not even a huge fan of chrome tips but man that exhaust look NASTY! i would definitely cut that off and bolt on a small section of chrome pipe thats just slightly larger diameter than stock (so it slides over snugly) you can buy a tip like that at pep boys for under $15
  13. KYB woulda held up better.
  14. like fleurys mentioned, the same exact thing happened to me on the trail, only it wasnt the isolator - it was the threads on the strut that stripped off
  15. class III hitch installed here.... ya im waiting for a sedan to rear end me so i can see this !!
  16. mine is so powerful it just spins the tires when i throttle it, i spin them through 5th gear to 120 mph
  17. yes you will sit higher (better ground clearance) but high speed offroading will be negatively affected since you will have practially no down-travel left in your suspension.... only up-travel Its a good setup for some, bad for others, depends on what youre trying to do with your rig.
  18. and no you dont need hubcentric rings if the rims arelarger bore than the hub hey does anyone now the offical diameter of warnhubs??
  19. the process is the same for any modern internal combustion engine (hell, even works on rotaries!)
  20. you could take out the power steering and A/C..... strip it down to the heater core and remove all that blower garbage under the dash.... PS where did you buy your "aluminium tires" ?
