Nice header! How did the bolts (studs) look? Were you able to remove them all with hand-tools, or did any of them snap flush with the block? Im about to tackle a 1995 header job on my buddys Pathfinder and would like to know what to expect...

Just Talked My Buddy Into Buying A 1995 Pathfinder!

Thanks guys. Do the studs eventually break completely or is it pretty safe to run with the leaking exhaust (just noisy) ? -
1995 Pathfinder SE-V6 4WD, leather heated seats, 152k miles, OEM foglights, spare tire carrier, power everything, 31" yokohama geolander AT. It even has a little switch for "suspension - sport or comfort" LOL $2500 do you think good deal? The engine temp gauge doesnt work. Where should i check first? The wiring behind the gauge cluster or the wiring in the engine bay? Or should we simply install an aftermarket gauge?

worst case scenario, junkyard transfer case under $1000 installed i just priced a brand new transfer case from Nissan, about $3500 installed but 12 month warranty !

welcome to the NPORA forum. What country are you in? Unfortunately my opinion is worse than NickJ's. My guess is that driving through water to the point where the engine shuts off, most likely means you sucked some H2O up (hydrolock), which couldn't compress in the cylinders = bent rods hope for the best but expect for the worst.

Thats the combo I have. It sits pretty close to level. Note: do not buy from rockyroad.com because they have the part numbers all mixed up - if you order HD they will send you medium springs and if you order medium springs, they will send you light duty springs!! They dont sell HD but they say they do! May I recommend www.ruggedrocksoffroad.com for best prices and best service, and most importantly: correct parts

Ome Springs Installed Need Help On Tires (Picture)
FUELER replied to coyotedustr's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
its the same springs, theres just conflicting data online about the amounts of lift. Whatever you do, do not use "rocky road" website to check part numbers cause theyve got them all mixed up. They sell medium springs and say that they are heavy duty. I suggest http://www.ruggedrocksoffroad.com for fast shipping and reliable information (as far as part numbers) You will get more lift than 0.5" trust me. -
Who wants a set of aftermarket suspension links?
FUELER replied to tmorgan4's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders

Wow alex has really stepped his game up on the tires. Those are freakin huge! With the wide footprint, they would do good in mud and snow. I had the same problem with the bottom of the fender (closest to the doors) basically where the mudflaps attach. I took a huge rubber mallet and bashed those things in, on both sides.

Driver's Low Beam Doesnt Work, But High Does
FUELER replied to Avus Blur's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
180 sx is right, these bulbs have a high filament and a low filament. What Avus Blur is describing is definitely a blown bulb. Sometimes people realize this and they choose to drive around with their brights on so that they have both lights working - a smart cop will still pull you over if you do this!! -
the rims on that purple terrano are SWEET !!!
-
just FYI it says in spanish, on the fender "do not sell motor or heads"
-
not sure about offset #'s but you'll want the backspacing to be about 3.5" - 4" no more no less
-
do you have 4x4 on a knob, or 4x4 on a huge lever, or both?
-
of course you can find a more expensive light but the baja designs work well, look really cool, and their headquarters are local to me so i like them.

by the time you get your SFD they will have invented wheels that fly !!

xplorx described it best. although i dont use the remover tool, once all the screws are removed, i simply pry off the panel and yes some of the clips will stay in the door rather than on the panel where they should be. its very easy, then, to pull the clips out of the metal door, and reattach them to the cardboard inner liner of the door panel, where they should be. my way does slightly damage the cardboard but not significantly. Ive taken off my door panels this way like 5 times, for various reasons, and they still hold on very tight, like new.
