  1. I think your glad hands are leaking or your Johnson bar is on. Although it could be your brownie is down.
  2. Wheres that Tungsten idiot. He hasnt been on in a while?

  3. Why do I find this on a different forum before noticing it here?
  4. A little noise means nothing. It might blow up in a mile or it might last hundred of thousands more.
  5. There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

      Nice Thompson quote

  6. I like Z-bart coating myself. They seem too protect better then others. About the only other thing is every spring make sure you clean your frame out and maybe even drill some extra drainage holes in it. Basically the salt and sand and mud get in the frame and has no place too go. Salt will be on the roads in a month or so.
  7. Close. UK HB. There are 2-3 threads on the 4.3 swap on this forum that I know of. One, that I saw a long time ago (like 2008) I believe was into a non SAS'ed 4x4. I searched and I couldn't find it. 4.3 should be the same bolt pattern and shouldn't be any different then the 4.3 As long as its not a FWD 231.
  8. Mileage? I'll vote the pvc guide. I know even stock on newer motors it'll suck like 1/4 quart into a catch can n 2k. When you say seepage you mean re main?
  9. I ran a thrush glass pack when it was stock. I never had a problem with it being too loud, IMO.
  10. New tires killed the pwer steering pump. I replace the pump and the alty dies.

  11. When bought, 3 Now. 9. If I ever get around too fixing the front more it'll be a 10.
  12. Purple or motor degreaser. I did find this stuff that worked great. I don't remember the name too it though and its not really help full. But it was piss yellow. Other then that I don't remember. It might have been for grills or NASA. I have several gallons of purple power but those are not it. I also like Zep products, they work great. But I cant seem too fine the Yellow stuff I had. But above all, a heated Pressure washer is far better then most products.
  13. Why not patch your tank D-bag? OP, I've never used vinegar. Nor have I heard of it. I just use old gas. The vinegar might f something up if you don't drain it all. If you could post pics I would have a better answer, but too me. I would just Clean it the best I could, blow the fuel likes out with air, change the filter and put some fresh non Oxy in it with some good cleaner. PS, on my 89 Ford it had sat for 10 years and still started and ran on gas that smelled like kerosene. But that's my luck I guess. Oh, and I've ran a 4 cylinder on nearly pure T
  14. Yes and no. It'll work but you will have 8 lug wheels on the front. Not worth the 600 IMO.
  15. In its stock setting a h233 is bullet proof. It maybe stronger then 9inchs but the 9 inch has been around 50s years. If your looking at larger tires then say 35s I would look at a HI9 or 9.75 for the rear. If your looking for 40+ I would run a 14 bolt.
  16. Hmmm. I don't think the bolt pattern is the same on the newer Fords then the Pathfinders/chevs.
  17. Use tape on the threads if your afraid of leaking. All have that plug. Most trucks acutally have that and most cars don't for some reason.
